Kids can volunteer. But they do need to be accompanied by an adult. Due to age restrictions there are somethings they can not do.
Kids 9 years old and up can volunteer along with an adult. There are many different volunteer jobs available. You'll have to attend a volunteer orientation(sign up on their website) and you can select anything that you're interested in. I love volunteering at this shelter myself!
