It is on the EBT app that you can download for free.
You can call the office and get the website from their recordings -two separate sites- then w either your social security number or a case number check the status yourself. If you go in the line is really long for them to tell you in about 5 seconds what your status is and on the phone most likely you will have to leave a message. In which case they won't call you back.
I was inable to reach anyone by phone. There was an 800 number listed to try. I did not pursue the 800 number. No one answers in my local office in Campaign County.
Public housing can help. Champaign County has a lot of resources. Call 411 and ask for Champaign County info and someone will point you in the right direction. We moved here last year from Atlanta GA and the transition was very smooth.
