How do I check to see if my application was received and the status of my application. Please. An e-mail would work for me.thank you

You can call the office and get the website from their recordings -two separate sites- then w either your social security number or a case number check the status yourself. If you go in the line is really long for them to tell you in about 5 seconds what your status is and on the phone most likely you will have to leave a message. In which case they won't call you back.

I called the number, but only got a "operator is not available" after climbing through the phone menu.

Call the department of human services and someone can let you know and answer questions you have. 217 278 5605 830am to 500pm

Go in by as close to 3pm or call the 800 number is the best !
