Found a nail in my tire at 5 pm on a Friday and drove straight here. The employees were super nice, respectful and efficient. My wait was about 1.5 hours but there were many people in front of me in line, and they did a great job honoring people with appointments. The showroom was very clean and well spaced for people wearing masks vs not. My tire was fixed for free. I will definitely come back here if this happens to me again.

I have been a discount tire customer for years and have received great service from them every time until today. I always go to the discount tire in Knightdale and they are awesome. Today my son went to the Six Forks location and I had the worst tire buying experience I have ever had. My son is 22 years old and they tried to take advantage of him. I asked him get them to check on his right rear tire because it was low on air. I thought it probably had a leak in it from a nail or something. We always get the warranty which should cover something like this. They looked at his tire and told him he would have to replace both of the rear tires and it was going to cost around $380 but they never looked to see what was wrong with the tire. My son called me while he was at Discount Tire and I asked them if they found the issue with the tire and they said they didn't look for an issue with the tire. I also asked how much tread was left on the tire and they told me it had 5/32" of tread. I asked why he was replacing the tires without know what was wrong with it when it still has 5/32" of tread. He didn't have an answer for that question. I told him to look at the tire to see what was wrong and to see if it would be covered by the warranty. They found a leak in one of the tires which was covered under our warranty. So we only had to pay for one tire. The total for one tire was $305. I asked him why there was little difference in the cost that was quoted earlier and the cost with the warranty covering one of the tires. His response was that he "was cutting him a deal on the two tires he quoted earlier". So without a warranty you get a deal and with the warranty you get screwed on price. I'm never going to this store again. I have four vehicles and use to spend a lot of money with Discount Tires but they lost my trust and my business today.

Johnnie (sp?) was great! He mentioned the price matching policy and when I found a site with the same tires but somewhat cheaper, he immediately refunded the difference. I really appreciate a business that honors it word!!! He also offered a home remedy for my somewhat foggy headlamps. I have been going there off and on for years and will continue taking my business there, as well as referring others!!! Thank you...

They're an okay place to buy inexpensive tires. Be careful with the free rotations and air checks through. Every time something is wrong. Just picked up my truck and two tires were 5 psi too high, other two were only 1 over. Easy fix once I got home but still annoying.

Wear a mask and practice safe distance..

Bought 4 new tires at a steep price about in feb. of this year and in may a large piece of steel went through it. I would say it was about 1 and 1/2 inches long. What kind of warranty do they have??? /

Think 15 a tire to insure them is correct. It's for a year. They holdup their end, .. It is so worth it.

No, Discount Tires does not provide nitrogen to fill tires. (It's a waste in my opinion, anyway).
