Great museum, it's well worth the trip and the prices are reasonable, try the Stingray Grill while you're there.

Husband loved it. He was in there for hours lol
Michael Brown
Great museum enjoyed the experience. Thank you.

A great place to visit whether you are an avid corvette enthusiasts or not. This was our first visit since the cave-in in 2014. We spent 2 hours at the museum. Very nice time.

There is the America's Best Value Inn, Country Hearth Inn and Hotel Sync, nearby. A little drive away there are many other hotels for your to choose from.
Yes go next exit from museum or there is a new one being finished across from the museum but no resturants around museum
Is it on display now or do they have a date?
The sticker will look cool but no value added.
There is bash in April and caravan happens on the anniversary on August the 31st 2019 (it's a huge event if I was to choose I would come to the Caravan)
NCM has plenty of parking for buses, RVs and trucks. Turn into the museum at Gate A (the first entrance) and follow the signs for parking. You will be driving straight past the front entrance to the museum and the truck parking lot will be on the right.
You need to find someone or a shop who regularly does Corvette restoration and have them inspect. Checking the VIN won't address how much of the car is still original .
The "Sink Hole" is the only tour that I am aware when I went there. Please note: Plant tours ARE CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE . Tours of the Bowling Green Assembly Plant are closed and a date of reopening has not been determined. Which even says it on their website in case that helps Kitty.
No, check corvettemuseum.org: Holidays Closed: New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day
What you should do is contact the NCM and ask them your question. They have an archives section. 1971 Corvettes would have been built in St. Louis.
Yes but masks are mandatory
Not sure. Only went thru the museum, did not go to the race track.
Yes
Like everyone else is saying, the plant is closed until 2019, I'm guessing to help keep the C7 under wraps. There's not much in Bowling Green, but its only an hour from Nashville, and you'll probably drive past the Bourbon Trail on your way down where you can tour some distilleries if you're into that. Plus, like someone mentioned, you're in cave country (hence the sinkhole tragedy a few years back) so there's Mammoth Cave and several others to choose from. It's worth the trip! I made the drive from Omaha, NE (about 12 hours) in my '98 Corvette.
Per the NCM site: Admission to the museum is: $10.00 adults (13-61), $5.00 children (5-12), FREE for age 4 years or younger, and $8.00 Seniors (62 or older). Any available discounts or coupons are applied to the adult rate.
Yes.
We showed them from my phone they scanned and went right in
Nope
You can park your RV at the Museum. Plenty of parking. At exit 58 is Horse Cave campground for overnight parking. It's 30 miles north of the museum. Museum is exit 28 and the caverns are exit 58.
The Corvette Museum has an archive department that could probably answer that question for you
There are a few in and around Bowling Green. Beech Bend was first on the list. Google will help you find more.
If you get to the museum early or really late you could park in their RV lot(which is simplistically nice) but there's minimal hookups & "No" overnight staying. But I got there 5+ hours before the museum opened and no one yelled at me.
I didn't notice that, but I Park not to close to another vehicle so I don't get my ride dinged by carelessness. Respect
Im sure their is. Their was a couple of corvettes on the floor that was leaving the day I was there.
They have insurance that you can get right there in the museum you can talk to them and see
Describe what you are asking about and I'm sure you will get an answer
There was a prototype there 2 weeks ago, but not a production model. The prototype was similar to but not exactly like what I've seen on about the 2020
They have the c8 prototype on display

Maybe this helps https://www.corvettecaravan.com/
Hopefully at our 25th Birthday Bash, August 28 thru the 31.
I do not know. You would need to contact the museum
Yes, Wheelchairs are available at no additional cost.
You may wish to call to confirm. This is an open forum on Google.
Check their website or call them.
2 hours if you move along at a steady pace. About 4 hours if you stop and read along the way. You will enjoy it either way. Good luck and have fun!
Nashville International Airport (BNA) is one hour south of the Museum. Louisville International Airport is less than two hours north of the Museum and is in the Eastern Time Zone.
I didn't see anything but corvettes. I don't understand question #2
Get your own shipper to ship but I am sure the museum could help with that.
Yes, Corvettes have been produced in Kentucky at the GM Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky since 1981.
General Admission is $10 and the museum is open Monday-Sunday 8am - 5pm
Don't know you will have to call the museum. They are open 7 days a week and only closed Easter, Thanksgiving day, Dec 24 and 25, new year's day. Open everyday from 8am to 5pm.
Most visitors spend about 2 hours.
Yes but not overnight. We have a parking lot available for oversized vehicles.
I just went to see the hole. What's a Z-51? I almost bought a Z-28 once, but there were'nt any of those in the Corvette museum.
Either guided tour or self tour or both
They have raffles. Some are limited tickets at $100 per or as low as $10 with more tickets sold. I and not aware of any bidding options
Admission Prices: $10 Adults (13-61) $8 Seniors (62 +) $5 Youth (5-12) 4 and under Free NCM Members Free Active Military Free

Jeff from Myrtle Beach, SC won our September 1st drawing. Our past raffle winners are posted on our website at https://www.corvettemuseum.org/raffle/raffle-winners/
1.5 -- 2 hours should do it
I do distinctly remember Roy Orbison's red 1967 427 is in the museum. Beautiful car!
$10 Adults, $8 Seniors, $5 Youth (5-12), Under 5 Free, Active Military Free.
I spent around two hours looking around. You should set aside a min of 30 min. To get through all exhibits. Don't be surprised if you stay multiple hours on self-guided tours. If you take the guided tour plan 1hr minimum, plus time wait for tour to start.
$10 for adults & $5 for kids 4-13. Went a week ago today. Self guided. I would recommend.
When we got there the first night they had already closed. I didn't see any signs saying that over night parking was prohibited. We drove in through an entrance with a gate, but it was open. Better safe then sorry though, I would contact the property and ask first.
Children 4 years of age and under are free. Kids 5-12 years of age are $5. Children 13 years of age to adults 61 years of age are $10. Seniors 62 years of age or older are $8. Active military get free admission. They also have discounts and coupons galore (check the main lobby in whatever hotel you're staying at.) There is also a group rate offered for groups of 15 people or more. Have fun! It was a great trip!
I'm not sure of the rates as I was with a school group and they charge different for us vs the general public admissions.
They do have a children's exhibit, but it wasn't open when we were there. And there is an ice cream parlor there. I wouldn't conaider it interesting for children under about 8 because you can't touch most of the exhibits, they do have some displays of the frames and molds that you can touch, but most of it is just reading and looking.
Contact GM customer service and they should get you to the right place. They used to do this as I know many people in the cosworth vega owners association would get them for their cars.
Yes - It is called 'Vette City Antiques' and it is behind the America's Best Value hotel.

The car was built in Bowling Green. The Museum did not open until 1994.
Anyone. Take our own Corvette and race in the track. Or you can be co-driver for the Corvette and driver hired there.
I would imagine they can or steer you in the right direction
43 were actually made. They thought they had crushed them all, until years later one was found in a warehouse. The Corvette museum knew it was a rare and the only survivor, so they bought it and thats where it remains today. When the sink hole happened, it was only 5 feet from falling into the sink hole.
I am not very familiar with that area of Bowling Green, but to my knowledge it is about 5 miles or so away from the closest pizza place.
Its all indoors, open all year, not sure what season you're referring to
If you become a member, its free. The National Corvette Museum website should be helpful too.
Put a scooter in the Corvette museum. Aahhheeeeee!!!! Nooooooo.
I do remember seeing a hood signed, I just am not sure it was the one you are asking about. I also remember outside the museum seeing a picture of the team that built the last Corvette of a model year. Hopes this helps!
Well had I looked at the back I would have seen a COA that said 204 of 19,994
Yes, there is parking set aside for RVs and Trucks (follow the signs).
