They do have a children's exhibit, but it wasn't open when we were there. And there is an ice cream parlor there. I wouldn't conaider it interesting for children under about 8 because you can't touch most of the exhibits, they do have some displays of the frames and molds that you can touch, but most of it is just reading and looking.
My son is 9 and he enjoyed it. Just depends on the kid.
Yes
Not really
Not a ton. It's really just a walk through showing the history of the Corvette and has a bunch of old cars obviously
The Museum offers a KidZone with hands-on activities geared towards children age 8 and under, including a service station to work on a car, pedal cars, and an area to design, build and test cars. There is a Corvette anyone is welcome to sit in. Throughout the Museum are a number of both mechanical hands on exhibits, as well as touch-screen digital interactives. We also offer an interactive Racing simulator. Nearby is the NCM Motorsports Park offering adult and junior go-karts, plus a two-seater kart (seasonal).
there are some things. most of it is a display of cars, but there are a limited few things that young ones can DO
There is a small room with a couple of activities/ toys. It had a play kitchen, a tire changing activity, and a mechanic activity... if I remember correctly. There might have been one more activity or toy. It's a pretty small room, but my 8 and 3 year olds had fun in it for about 10 minutes before we told them we were going to move on. There is a room that has an example of what the collapse would sound and look like (before you go into the actual room where it happened). That scared my kids a bit, but it wasn't too bad.
As much as any museum. Look and read.
Not really. Young children would probably find it boring unless they were into cars.
