Paided $300 for a two hour window for wedding got absolutely nothing for my money. Could have walked in for free and done the same thing. Beautiful place but if you schedule anything make sure you know what your getting. It's been a week still no reply from Paula Skaggs. It awful to take money for a job not perform the job then ignore the person who paid you . Horrible work ethics.

Unfortunately, we don't currently have any picnic tables. Our rules technically state no food, however, we are okay with food and drinks as long as all trash is placed in appropriate receptacles. We have both recycling and garbage containers inside the museum. We hope to see you soon!
I'd suggest the Hyatt at wku. It's close to downtown, a better hotel for the area.
We typically recommend around 30-45 minutes of slow walking through both the museum and garden each. Watching the Emmy-award-winning documentary about Joe Downing will add an additional 25 minutes. In addition to the approx. 14 acres of developed gardens, we also have a lengthy rugged paved walking trail located behind the parking lot at Baker Arboretum.
