I do distinctly remember Roy Orbison's red 1967 427 is in the museum. Beautiful car!
In addition to Roy Orbison's Corvette, we have a Pace Car that was owned by MLB player Reggie Jackson. We currently have a Pace Car driven by Ben Affleck on display, too, and have had Pace Cars driven by Morgan Freeman and Chuck Yaeger. Most of the cars rotate being on display so it varies as to which cars we will have. Through 2020 we have two Corvette 'Autobots' from the Transformer movies. We have hosted a country music stars and cars exhibit in the past with cars that were owned by George Jones, Kix Brooks, Steve Wariner, Faith Hill & Tim McGraw, Marty Robbins, Dolly Parton, Scott Borchetta of Big Machine Records, Brad Paisley, the late Troy Gentry and others. We've had a NASA exhibit with cars owned by Alan Bean, Alan Shepard and Al Worden.
Some of the cars are on loan from other collectors. Its pretty neat you can order a 2019 and pick it up there.
There were a couple of Corvettes there that were owned by celebrities. I don't recall who they were but they were big names. And they were pictured in the cars.
Yes there are some celebrity owned vettes there
I don't believe that any where it is mostly about the history of the car. The plant where they build corvettes is pretty much next door
