Do not recommend booking this hotel - EVER. The staff, including management is not helpful or flexible. I made a last minute booking and for reasons beyond my control, I was not able to make the trip. The hotel was not willing to cancel my reservation or provide a voucher simply because they did not want to be flexible - I was told by the AGM that the hotel was fully booked so they would not make an exception. This makes absolutely no business sense - i suppose you make exceptions when the hotel is empty? I left a voicemail for the GM, Frank, over 48 hours ago. He has yet to return my call. Guest Relations, who also was not willing to help, escalated the case and stated I would be contacted in 24-48 hours. I still have not been contacted. We are beyond that window. There is absolutely no customer service or attempt to be flexible. I will not be using your location (or any Holiday Inns) going forward. I hope you enjoyed the business from the overpriced $300+ Saturday night reservation that you were not able to be flexible about. This is the last time I conduct business with an organization with no customer service skills or business sense. To customers - I highly recommend the Marriott Downtown, Cork Factory Hotel, or Lancaster Arts Hotels. I have had fantastic stays at all three.

When my sister and I checked in, we were given a room on the 10th floor. As soon as we got off of the elevator we could hear a dog barking. As we walked to our room the barking was louder and louder. Just my luck, we were right next to the room with the non stop barking dog. My sister went back down to the front desk and I stayed with the luggage. She asked that we be moved, but they told her that the hotel was sold out. They only reason they switched our room is because I have allergies. We didn't realize that the hotel was pretty friendly, but even so, no one should be forced to stay in a room next to a barking dog without some kind of consent or at least a warning; and it seemed like if I didn't have allergies that is what would have happened to us. Thankfully they moved us to a different floor. The room was average, but did have a fridge, which was convenient since we had leftovers when we returned from dinner. Unfortunately some of the towels were questionable... a big hair sticking out of one towel, and something on a hand towel. Didn't give me any confidence that the rest of the towels and wash clothes were clean. Luckily I travel with my own linens.

Our experience was very pleasant at this hotel! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The reason for the 4 star review is the bathroom, it was a little outdated (specially the bathtub) but it was not a big deal for me and my husband. We appreciated the free parking and the included breakfast (even though the food didn't meet our expectations, by far, but that's the restaurant's problem). The staff was kind and friendly and the common areas were clean and well maintained. There is a very convenient ATM at the lobby. There is also an indoor pool and a fitness center on the 4th floor.

My family went to this Holiday Inn location for a friend's New Year's Eve 2021 wedding & reception. The place was off-the-hook amazing. I believe my friend & his lovely bride got every penny's-worth from every amenity. Professional staff. Classy reception hall. Eloquent setting. Patrons that stayed that night (we did not because we live a mere 40 minutes away) & they claimed the rooms were clean, comfy, etc. Very nice job!

Yes! In fact I used the gym while I stayed at the Hotel Lancaster. It is small but neat and clean. Free weights, treadmill, bike, elliptical. Plenty of clean towels available as well. Just place the used towel in the hamper. You will need your room key to gain access into the gym room.

What is the cost of parking per night?

Evie King | May 2, 2019

$10. If you are staying as a guest of the hotel you will need to get the parking validated by hotel staff prior to leaving the lot. Since we had to park far away from the hotel entrance, my husband needed to move to car closer to the hotel doors to load the car with our suitcases. He paid the $10 to the attendant. Then as we checked out and gave our keys back to the front desk, they told us about validating. A little too late by then! So we never got the free parking.
