I hate to say this but this company is a rip off. I’ve been with them for about 3 years now and they have good customer service (promptly answer phones, will help with problems etc) and very rarely have outages other than planned down time that they notify people about. But they try and charge 300 dollars for a gig internet connection. Other companies will offer this for 80-100 dollars in certain areas. There is no difference in fiber optic line or anything, they simply bump up the data traveling through the line to your house. If they are the only service in your area like they are mine then you may have to suffer through it. But if there is another company that offers higher speeds at lower prices (doesn’t try to price gouge every cent out of the customer) then I would strongly suggest trying them out before going with pine land.

Reliable network on my internet based business in Americus GA. Have had it in two locations now in town… same reliability. Wish I could have it at home in the county and replace my unreliable cable based internet service. I try to work at home, but often just leave for the office because of my poor home internet. Please let me know as soon as it is available in Sumter County please. I am ~1.5 miles out of the city limits.

Hello Mr. Brown. We do not offer any sort of plans for seniors specific, but there is the ACP (Affordable Connectivity Program) available for persons qualifying. You can learn more and make application at ACPBenefit.org or the direct link to the program is https://www.affordableconnectivity.gov/. It offers a $30 a month discount for those who qualify. Application is made on the ACP website and then you contact your provider (Pineland or otherwise) with your qualification code and documentation if required. Good morning Kamia - Each customer's package can vary based on the broadband speed in which they need in their home to the channel package, number of set-top-boxes, and if they order premium channels. Service is not the best, price range for my service is out there. Always checking for a better price.
