Best campsite in our whole USA Roadtrip!!! Clean vault restroom. Georgeous view! We were there midweeks in June 22. Just 4 other campers.

Loved it! I would like to go back and dry camp right on the edge! $5 to enter the park, $10 if you are camping. There is a toilet, no water for washing hands.

Wonderful place to Boondock for a couple of days! The staff at the gate were very friendly and happy to see you there! Thank You! The views of the canyon/Goosenecks were fabulous! I'd never seen anything like it. We were able to park near the rim and what views we had!!! The sunsets were magnificent and the "stars" were abundantly brilliant to see! You gotta stop in if you're in the area, day or night, it is a site to see.

Remote, wild, scenic area located not too far from Monument Valley and the Valley of the Gods. Has nine official primitive campsites but in reality there are many more dispersed sites. No hookups or water. You bring those! The upside is the massive, deep canyon carved by the San Juan River. The other upside is it only costs $5 per night 😉

Shouldn't be to busy unless it's the weekend. Very windy. We should be there late March also. For a little RnR
Yes, there are multiple campsites along the rim. There is a fee to camp here. Sites have fire pits and some have shelters.
I didnt stop and try any of them, but there are a few 12 miles away in Mexican Hat, UT. Most look to have overlook views of the San Juan River
If they are, one should consider they don't roam around freely. The risk of falling is high If they get near the edges. The rim is wide and expansive, but sheer drops are hidden around the bends.
Excuse me I do not speak English
$10. Was just there 3 weeks ago. Have cash because if there is not a ranger on site when you arrive you are required to put money in an envelope they provide (exact amount any extra they keep as a donation) and drop it in a box.
The Best! I have to say throw a rock off and wait....lol awesome yes. The best...Best off seeing it in day and going elsewhere in the day. Many cool lizards chillin on rocks. Views make you nautious.
