From security posted at the parking structure down to the facilitators within the building - everyone carries that warm, welcoming magic that Disney is known for. I was directed to the university building where my onboarding process and traditions were happening. It was such an amazing experience. To be excited for an orientation was something I never thought I’d ever say as a working adult. Thank you to Mariah and Doug (apologies if spelled incorrectly) of group Mickey for the magical experience! They were absolute gems!

They like to lie and waste your time. Don’t apply. Apply your skills somewhere else

Truth is , the whole process of being hired is amazing , the orientation is probably one of the best things I have ever gotten to experience in my entire life, but as soon as reality hits and they start working you like a slave but somehow you only work 14 hours a week at a horrible wage

I have been working for another theam park for over 3 years in 3 different areas of the park and then decided disneyland would be a fun career , I filled out there application then got a email to take there gallup test , it was a 45 minute test at that and at the end it said im not what they are looking for!?!?! Thanks disney land, I just want to remind the folks of all the people who have passed away at your theam park due to stupid employees who have beginers luck with your online personallity test. I wish you Sr. a good day ,good bye mouse

How did you apply? Was it on line? How long ago did you apply?
It is difficult. A couple times I made it through the telephone tree, but even when I reached someone, they could not/would not provide any assistance. Basically, I called several times and selected different options until I reached a person. I believe one of the options was for existing Cast Members, they then connected me to a hiring side person. Also, even calling Disneyland in Anaheim connects callers to Walt Disney World central casting in Florida. The person with whom I spoke confirmed my application was received, but could not answer any other questions. Also, the number provided in the emails I received for my interview only went to a voice mail. After leaving many messages and showing up at several hiring expos, someone finally called and gave me the status, 6 months after my interview, 9 months after application was submitted.
