If you are picking up a car, best to reserve it on line first, cheeper than walking up. Hint on returns follow the signs on Rental Car Road, Google will take you to two dead end roads!!!

You can drop the key on your car rental's return box. Then head in the car rental building, there you will find a screen with all the flights departing from DFW and their corresponding terminal. Find your flight from the screen and take the shuttle bus that matches your flight departing terminal.

The tax-rate is high as it gets. Whatever your rate, double that number to cover the taxes. Love field is much less expensive. Yes, they will rent you at 21, however you need a credit card, not a debt. Some agencies will take a debt card from a reputable bank, but only if you have your plane ticket with return flight date.

No. But your hotel might, when you book your hotel, check to see if it offers airport shuttles being as some do and some don't (should be listed with their amenities) and then you call them and give them your flight info and they'll have someone pick you up

They are open 24 hrs and the shuttle runs 24 hrs. Not all agencies are open 24 hrs, but as long as you have your reservation with your vehicle parking spot location number you can get the vehicle and go to the exit gate.

If you put in your flight info to the rental, y'all is good If not depends on their moods as they don't have to keep it for you and it can flip either way. Either they'll have it for you and all's good, or they forfeited your reservation and y'all have to make a new one

I agree with answers above. However, consider paying around $20-40 per day for a compact car plus insurance. By no means are these rates definite. However, if you have to pay more than $40 for a compact car, you can consider it costly and vice versa. I hope that helps. And always ask the person at the desk if they can upgrade you for free.
