Retrieve your bags and make your way to the elevator. Go down one level and look for the pillars labeled "rental cars". All of the rental companies are located in one spot.

Follow the signs to rental shuttles. Warning about returns: 1. On your way to bring it back, follow the signs that says Rental returns or you'll go the wrong way. 2. Coming back fill up where the gas is cheaper then near the airport you won't have to purchase as much of the more expensive gas.

There is only one location for all the car rentals at DFW. The shuttle will take your there.
Take the shuttle bus. Follow the signs.

Follow the signs to "transportation". Head to the ground floor and outside you can take any of the large blue bus's.
There is a shuttle bus service from the terminal to the rental car area.

Go to level 1 of whichever terminal you arrive. There are bus stops marked for parking lot shuttles, hotel shuttles and rental car shuttles. It is a 7 to 10 minute ride, sometimes longer
