Horrible experience, stinky car, mis represented toll charges, time it took to get our car, car recevied not the car we reserved.

. First, there were only 3 people at the counter in a busy place like DFW. At least 15 people in line. Second, when I arrived at DFW there were NO cars like I reserved. They offered me a substitute. I ask if it would be at the same rate as my reserved car... YES! When I returned the car the next day they charged me for the upgrade. The fact they did not have the car I reserved is not my problem, but theirs. To charge me for an upgrade is ridiculous!. After an hours delay and discussion a Supervisor FINALLY agreed to give me the original rate. Third, I am a FastBreak member for a reason. This is the SECOND time in a month that I arrived, and my number had been dropped from the reservation, so no car was ready for me. It makes me wonder whether it is worth the hassle?

Made reservations a month ago Got off plane & there has to be over 150 in line with reservations Will never use again
The Truth
I arrived at DFW airport for pickup of my vehicle from budget before my scheduled time of 5:00 a.m. only to find the budget office closed. There was no instruction that I was to go to the Avis Rental Desk but after about 15 minutes a lady did appear and advised that I should go to the Avis Rental Desk in order to get my vehicle. The vehicle that I was provided was filthy to say the least. I did not expect that at all however at the importance of the rental I had to accept it and leave. Upon Return of the vehicle the Personnel that accepted it at the parking lot was not helpful so I was charged for a full tank of gas even though the car was a quarter full. Not a good experience it was my first and last time renting from budget.

If you contact them and tell them the situation, they will work with you. My flight got in just after midnight. They close at midnight. They stuck around until I got there!
Cool story
There is a shuttle that takes you too and from the car rental center. There are multiple rental agencies in the center.
No, just0 credit cards
They can take a note but u wont be guaranteed a mustang
The airport is NOT walking distance. However there's shuttles 24/7 to the airport.
We prepaid off their website. We never told them were flying in
Not all of the agency counters are open. Limited staff. So when flights come in, everyone goes to Avis for Budget and Avis and one other. Same for other agencies. They are all working at one counter
I didn't have to pay 1
You have to be atleast 25 or there will be an extra charge
A credit card is always needed to rent any vehicle
Awww ya they do seem to be understaffed a bit for an airport. You should open a fastbreak acount with them, when you get a human, no lines necessary, no humans necessary either. Just book online and go to the Budget parking lot & pick up your ride. It's great. Good Luck. HaPPY HoLiDaYS.
Sorry...Not sure
Don't listen to the other guy. Listen to me ... After you take your luggage exit to the airport then take the elevator to the 1st floor and look for the sign that says, "rental cars" and wait for the PURPLE bus. 😎. Omg simplicity is wonderful. Have a great stay in Dallas!!!
Follow Gabriel's advise and you should be good. You can also call their 1800 number just in case you wan to make sure everything is alright.
When you sign the rental contract, one of the paragraphs is that you are the only driver of that rental car. I believe that you have to go to a rental office, show a valid drivers license of the second driver and there could be an additional charge also.
You can sign up from their website. Your will only get used answers from here and not direct from company.
Yes, there is bus service from the terminal to the rental cart locations.
$100 for 5 days but $195. For taxes.
