Went last week to celebrate the 50th. The Murillo exhibit is spectacular! The paintings are so big! The lights in the trees are great!! One of my favorite museums.

We had a wonderful time there!

Not that I know. But, the Museum will take contemporary money. Your donation may even be tax exempt.
Hello Ms. Rife, Because members have priority admission, most days are great to see the exhibition! We do see more crowds during the last two weeks of an exhibition, so I recommend visiting before then. Best, Madison Ladd PR Coordinator
How much is the entrance fee?
The Kimball has The Cardsharps by Caravaggio, it's in the main building.
No they are a museum they do not sale them just show them off. They do have a gift shop but it would not be old coins just replicas
Yes free parking except during stock show when Fort Worth takes over all of the parking lots in the district.
Hi, Isaac! The Kimbell's permanent collection is always free to view. We only charge for special exhibitions, and we have half-price days every Tuesday and on Fridays from 5 to 8 p.m. Let us know if you have any other questions.
Yes, well behaved children with an appreciation of looking at "pictures" and discovering concepts, shapes, colors, people, seasons, buildings, plants, etc. found in the art. Sculpture can inspire play with clay, play dough, paper mache, wood, scissors, glue, etc. It is a great place for curious children, even as young as three or four, who can focus, discover, and imagine. Supervised children are welcome I'm sure. It is not a place for running around unsupervised. Always be mindful of other patrons and guests. Many children are better guests and express their curiosity and interest in art better than some adults. I have seen school field trips to art museums in other cities, including very young children. Activities after the field trip include drawing, painting, and "sculpting" and show the children's incredible understanding of the value of art education at school and at home.
Hello Fajar, Please know we do not buy or sell ancient currency and are aware this is a scam. thanks, Madison
Special exhibits that cost extra to visit. Aldi, displays that go round and round.
Google for reputable restoration art galleries in your area. Good luck
There are ramps for wheelchair. Also elevator. Plus water gardens are easy ♿ accessable.
Parking seems 2b free. I parked on the street, in front, and walked maybe 60 feet. The Kimball and modern art have free parking lots.
Oh...THERE IS A PICNIC TABLE. on museum grounds.
No it is a museum
It's bases on the day you sign up and will continue for a year. Membership cards will be mailed to the address you provide.
I would contact them directly. Good luck :) https://www.kimbellart.org/about/contact-us
No. If you're looking for American furniture, I would suggest visiting the Dallas Museum of Art.
They do not deal with loans from individuals. Use the contact portion of their website to get in touch with someone if you have specific questions.

Hell Jamuna, Please know we do not buy or sell old money.
Hello Mr. Pope, "Monet: The Late Years" ended in September. However, we do have two paintings from the show on view in the Kahn Building, in addition to our two Monet paintings in our permanent collection. We hope to see you at the Kimbell Art Museum soon.
Hello Dilan, The Kimbell Art Museum does not buy or sell old coins. Please do not trust this person. Thanks, Madison Ladd PR Coordinator
No
The general collection is always free. They charge to see the special exhibitions. Right now, that's the Monet exhibit.
There are. The main building has made from scratch quiche, soup, and salad that varies week to week in addition to other lovely food additions. The new building has a more made ready quick selection of things. Cookies, coffee, soda etc.
Sir please tell me the CEO of this museum(coin and note)
I don't think they limit attendance. You only have to buy a ticket to one of the ticketed exhibits, otherwise it's free to visit.
Yes, it's indoors. There are books, and some blocks. But, no jumping /running around appreciated. Just FYI
The Kimbell has permanent exhibits which are made available to the public all the time and these are wonderful exhibits and deserved to be seen time and time again just because you will always discover something new. However, there are Special Exhibits, which are Hosted at the Kimbell 2 - 3 times a year and they are spectacular. There is a fee for the Special exhibit's. There are Senior, Student, & Group so call for Discounts. Definitely, not to be missed. So take every opportunity to see the special exhibit's as well the regular exhibits. Enjoy your visits💋🍀
Free. Special exhibits are extra
It's scheduled for June 16th to September 15, 2019
Go thru garage then go up elevator.
Not inside the museum. However, you can do it on the grounds.
Commission was awarded in 1966 and the last addition was completed in 2013
I believe it is in the "helicopter ride over Fort Worth" footage that they show at the beginning of all the Omni shows at Mesuem of Science and History.
Hi Bettina, the trees are Live Oak Trees and Cedar Elm.
No backpacks. No cameras on featured exhibits
Across the street (North) from the museum there is an art studio that should be able to appraise a painting for you.
Yes
As stated above, a rotating exhibit moves from one museum to another, and stays at a location from as little as a few months to a year... Depending on the exhibitor moderator... And those special exhibits are at an additional admission price...
I was there 3 days ago (on Friday) and they did not have a rotating exhibit. Thet are between exhibits at the moment.
Like the above posts... It's free for the permanent collections, but there is a fee for some special visiting collections... For me there was plenty to see within all the free permanent collections...
Not familiar with this artist, snd reasonably certain there is nothing in the permanent collection
A rotation, in museum lingo, is the changing of a work or multiple works on display; as one is taken off view, another replaces it.
Sorry. Not sure. But I would definitely recommend calling to verify.
Contact the museum directly through the website regarding potential jobs.
