Extensive history of photography and cinematography. Pioneer history and exhibits. My brain is full

The people that take care and run this Museum , are wonderful! They have a lot of intresting and historic artifacts. I really appreciate how clean and well kept the building was and how well they kept the artifacts on display. Ultimately they do need more volunteers and or more people with experience with historic artifacts! I recommend if anyone that even a little intrested in see how a museum work or even just intrested in helping preserving our local history call them, they would really appreciate it.

A lady friend wanted to know if I would like to go to the museum.? Sure. I didn't even know this was there or existed. There was real stage coaches, model " T's", pictures of Eugene in the late 1800`s. It was very interesting, I think admission $5.00, veterans free. Brought back many memories

Hi Russel, we are currently in the process of improving the Historian, and as such are not publishing on our traditional schedule. We have not set a date for it yet, but are sure it will be worth the wait. You can subscribe to our publications - Newsletter and Journal - by becoming a member at only $35 per year. Thank you!
Currently, we have an exhibit about WW1 on view. If you are looking for information on WW2, you can make a research appointment [https://lchm.org/research-photos/], or you can search our publicly available digital collections here: https://lchm.pastperfectonline.com
Our focus is on Lane County history specifically. We have extensively covered pioneers with previous exhibits, and our current and upcoming exhibits cover more recent histories. For history about the state of Oregon at large, you may want to check the Oregon Historical Society. For local Masonic history, confer with the Oregon Freemasons.
During the Lane County Fair, we have free admission for all fair attendees. The toys exhibit will be ending December 29 of 2018, to be replaced with a new exhibit in January.
