Lately getting a response from most of the people here is problematic. I have called my 96 year old mother's case manager several times, I am still waiting for a call back. I realize that we are not the only monkeys on their tree but two weeks is a bit long to wait.

The few times I've needed to get ahold of them, they've been extremely helpful! The staff is wonderful.

I came in on 2018 and a girl helped me but I never got a card or correspondence with her name on it. I saw that SNAP must be helped after a certain age from DHS on Chad Drive to DHS downtown. The letters sent to me says ET and a number. Is that her? him? How cryptic is this? Prior to that, at Chad Drive, I always knew who that person was.

Not the same. Google your mother's county with words senior and disability and it will show the proper office. Call number and ask. The senior and disability offices are very pleasant and helpful.
They help seniors a disabled people with food stamps and care hours, they do have other services too.
Go down to the office for application then they will tell you what day and time to come back with your application all filled out then I believe orientation I just went and got application the other day oh get there before 2pm they close early cause of covid
Hi did you ever get any seniors, if so can you tell me how you did it?
Right on thank you for your information
Go directly to senior services. Now!

Case workers will have you get 3 estimates and turn them in. They have a list that they work with they can send you. I have been fighting them on this same issue for 3 years.
No they don't ,we have the Eugene mission for emergency housing ,shelter care ,
Also check the good rx card it can help lower the cost and give different pharmacy to find the cheapest price
Go into the office between 10am-2pm M-F and get renewal paperwork. Its all explained in there. If you let number expire you probably need to fill everything out again just like you did the first time, and take online workshop, and there is also 8 hr online training to complete which you get paid for.
Call Social Security Administration
Homes for Good
www.lanecounty.org/coronavirus This is where you can sign up for their news letter, it will let us know when they will be giving us non medical people the vaccine. I hope this helps. Take care,. Monica
Yes, I care for mmt mom. They put family first.
Go to Developmental Disabilities in the basement of the Courthouse on Oak St
hello there are variable guidelines based on need and income etc.ive had care provider services for 30 years.they are gopd people.i recommend calling and speaking with a worker of the day and make an appointment for a home assessment.it takes about an hour of answering questions asnthe answers are logged in a lap top p.c..the information is usully processed at that time so in most cases youll find out if your accepted and how many hours you will receive.good luck.
They are not an emergency service agency. Call 911.
Not that I know of. But they may be able to direct you to other resources that can.
Senior&disabled services have several different facilities that provide in home care workers that are able to give your mother the care that her case manager has decided that you're mother is in need of having done in her home.
They are open during the lunch hour. Sometimes, during budgetary down cycles, they will close during the lunch hour. That's not the case right now.
Joy yes there is a program for free phones .i reccomend calling seniors .... Most refer to them as Obama phones.
You keep track of your hours, Remember u can only get 40 hrs a week
Merry Christmas holiday season.give them a call they will be kind informative and will direct you to the right people.they are one of the best programs available for seniors.thank you kindky
Approx. 14.00 per hr. From SDS.
You would have to try Shelter Care as a starting position for housing, if this is what you are looking for.
If you have a licience such as a CNA, you should talk to a "worker of the day" to get advice since you need to protect your licience. You don't want to just walk off the job since if the person fell than you could be held liable. Perhaps you are being taken advantage of or you can't handle it alone . A caseworker could help get additional help.
I don't know if there is one in Benita.
Im thinking that it would be a good idea to call.
Kinda what I thought. Thanks for answering me though.
Good luck been trying to collect for 26 hours that I'm owed and the case manager doesn't deny that they agreed to pay me, but because my original voucher was messed up and had to resubmit for the 26 hour's I'm having problems getting paid. Call which ever office you work for and they should help you. They do pay two weeks after you turn in your voucher so if you did not turn in on time it will take a month to be paid.
