These botanical gardens are in the Hot Springs, AK area and highly recommended. My wife and I love to visit different gardens on our vacation trips and we are glad we found this one. Very well laid out with a LOT to see. The day we were there they had a story reading event on the grass for the children and their parents. This is a dog friendly garden as long as your dog is on a short leash and well-behaved. There is an extra $5 fee for dogs. Most of the trails are handicap accessible but there are a few with gravel or stepped levels that are not wheelchair or scooter friendly. My wife and I are in our late 60's and we had no trouble in getting around the grounds.

We were lucky enough to hit the gardens while the tulips were in full bloom. Really nice enjoyable time. Fair $15 adult entry fee. These gardens give you tons of freedom to roam about walk across waterfalls get off the main paths on stepping Stones closer to nature. Truly enjoyed the freedom these gardens give for roaming. Excellent garden area for children also. If you are a senior or have any immobility that keep you from getting around you can also request a golf cart tour to get around easier. I think the golf cart tours are included with admission but I am not 100% certain on this.

One of the best places to visit in Hot Springs, AR. We went there mid-to-late March, and the weather was perfect! $15 for adult and $5 for kids (5-12). It took about 2 and half hours to see all the spots while slowly walking and enjoying. You can buy some food inside (chipmunk cafe) or bring your own food and drink. Great place for every age group! Strongly recommend!

Beautiful gardens! We stopped by here on our visit to Hot Springs National Park and spent about 2.5 hours walking around! There were lots of different decorations up for Christmas time. We liked the trail that goes up to the lake. The treehouse and tower were also cool to look at! The only sad part was the chapel was closed when we went due to an event. The gift shop was cute with friendly staff too!

We went last night and it was $15 for adults. I'm not sure about the other prices for kids and seniors
For Holiday Lights, we are open from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm every day except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. We will close at 9 pm on New Year's Eve and remain closed until February 1.
Highly recommend, beautiful peaceful place!
Absolutley. Let the parking attendants know and we will assist in every way possible

Holiday decorations were being put up our last time there a week or so ago. Call ahead to verify hours
Yes, they have a fee to do so and your dog must be on a leash
Because of the strange weather the tulips will probably be a bit late. 1st one bloomed yesterday. Early April.
Garland Towers Apartments is a wonderful place to live and they go by your income .This place saves a person alot of money .Seniors can get. an apartment cheaper than the usual apartments .
Late March/early April. Spring and summer are my favorite seasons here with many blooms of variety flowers. This is a walking tour. You CAN tour the grounds by a guided golf cart. I highly recommend.
Wait till the weather is completely mild so you won't waste your $.
This weekend is the last weekend that the lights are open. Last night is dec 31st
0-3 yrs Free 4-12yrs $5 Adults $15 Cart ride $20 (I'm pretty sure) Worth EVERY penny!!
It was $15 per person for entrance plus $10 per person for golf cart. Worth it!
You will have to call the Gardens and ask. I do not know.
Yes, we will be open, from 9AM to 6 PM, on both of those dates. Thank you for considering bringing your family to Garvan Woodland Gardens.

Only a few lights. Very disappointing for anyone who has seen the full display in past years.
It's $15 and wheelchair accessible

Probably. We just bought tickets there. You can look on their website or call. Very nice place to visit. Check if there is any event. If so, you won't be able to see the Chapel.
Lights are only in a small section of the garden. The garden is open from 10am until 5:30pm. No cart rides sold after 4:30.
Not many lights but they do have like a Christmas bingo going on, or treasure hunt may be a better explanation
No food and no pets. But it's an amazing experience still. 😊
Definitely check the website because they are starting the night lights 😃 soon... Those hours are different
Dogs are still allowed. I'm not sure what prices were beforehand, but the prices are as they are listed on the website.
The website and signs posted at the venue state to contact the facility for group rates.
You can also sneak in by air but the landing might be tricky ...😁
No i dont believe they do just beautiful flowers and gift ahops
There are fees for weddings. Check the website for more info, but I believe they offer something special for very small parties.
You can check their online calendar to see if there are events that interest you in February.
None that I know of. They are open 4-9 pm thru December every night (except 12/25) for the Holiday Lights. I believe that are closed in January and take down the lights then.
Don't forget to see the chapel. It's not part of the light display, but it is breathtaking!! I posted pictures of it on their site
Many of the plants are still in bloom becouse they are always replacing for ones in season! Also setting up lights for Halloween and getting ready for Christmas lighting! I think that's why they charge $15 a person do they can always being up grading flowers and programs they for different reasons! I can't see how, no matter the season, it would matter about the beauty you will see there! It's a amazing place! I will be driving from Louisiana the last week of November to see, not only Garvan gardens but the whole Hot Springs National park! You will be blessed by the area any time of year! Highly Recommend!!
Any time would be a good time to visit! So beautiful and great hiking with so much to see and experience!
Not to sure
Flowers, bonsai garden, stunning chapel, waterfalls, coi fish, 2 billon dollar tree house.... we saw the Peacock at the chapel
You should go. Bring along a blanked, we'll filled picnic basket, camera, shades. Don't forget to stop for the wood and glass church building, if you are into architecture.
Yea a 2million dollar tree house, and an awesome kids section that includes fossil exploration and more.
If doing a wedding shoot, that may be different...
No access to the lake from the trails
Yes
It has small waterfalls and lots of water pools and features.
You can rent a golf cart, but that is a guided tour. It's all walking otherwise. It's not level so it's not just an easy walk. It's worth it if you are able.
$15 per person ages 13 - up. http://www.garvangardens.org/visitor-guide/admission-hours.aspx
I am not sure. Check their website out online or call them tomorrow. Happy Easter!
At Garvan Gardens, I wouldn't know, you could call them I imagine and find out.
I believe they are. Hot springs is a tourist driven community. I would call to make sure before you plan a trip.
Omg you should see the bazillion tulips of every color. If you love flowers this is the place to be
Daffodils were no Tulips when we visited.
It's too cold yet, wait till it warms up a little to get a full view of the whole garden in bloom.
Feb to march the website will keep you updated as well as you can call them and they can let you know of the blooms
Gardens close at 9 so I would think about 830
Do not need any reservations. Even if you are taking golf car, usually it few minutes waiting. Which is $ 15 per person in addition to $ 15 per person regular entry.

Yes. It will be closed Christmas Day but open the next day. You just have to go tonthe website and click on the Visitors Guide tab for information such as this.
I saw dogs there, so one would assume, but I'm still unsure whether they were service animals
I would say a leisurely walk would be around 2 hours.
Garven Woodland Gardens is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day during the holidays! HAPPY HOLIDAYS 🙏
No they do not close. The only time is when there's lightning and a concern for safety. I had a friend of mine who was a meteorologist and he said he loved his job because he could be wrong all the time and keep it. There are no three-day forecast. The weather changes every 20 minutes. That's why he camps out in front of the Doppler radar.
Adults are $15 Children under 12 are $5 The entire Garedens is 5 miles, on paved easy paths for the most part. If you would rather ride, you can take a guided golf cart tour for $30 per person. #letsguide
Yes and I have heard there beautiful
November 17th 6:00pm is the first day of Christmas lights. Go to their website and book the tickets. http://www.garvangardens.org/purchase_tickets/default.aspx Advance happy Christmas 😀👍
There are golf carts but a volunteer drives you around for an hour or so and gives a very nice tour. It was around $25 or $30. We thought it was well worth it.
You can pay for the day or pay for other long term memberships. They have a variety of options. Beautiful place.
November 17th 2018 is opening night this year.
$15 per person, 30 per person if u want a tour so u dont have to walk in the heat its a very big place the glass church is free to go see tho
Ask the Gardens' staff. I have never seen anyone fish, so i would say one cannot fish the ponds.
Always starts the Saturday before Thanksgiving. November 17, 2018 this year.
Adults are $15 (13 and up). Kids are $5 (4-12). Under 4 years old is free. If you bring your dog (1 per person allowed) it's an additional $5 but must be leashed. Enjoy your trip 😊

It's always beautiful and always different. Never a bad time to go.
Yes we are open on Easter. The Cafe will be closed on Easter Sunday.
I was there Friday and the place is gorgeous colors are vibrant and flowers in full bloom.
I've never known of us doing that. We usually move most all bulbs to the greenhouse and then the cooler unless of course they show signs of disease in which case we burn them.
With the warmer weather that We are having the tulips will go ahead bloom. By the end of this week and by next weekend would be a good time to visit the Garden.
Yes. It is a beautiful place to have a wedding. Contact the sales department listed on the website.
No..Im an employee at the Gardens. We are closed the month of January to the public.

November 18 through December 31, 2017 Garden Gates Open at 3 p.m. daily Lights On 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. Closed Christmas day 13yrs and up $15 Kids $5 3 and under free.
We went at 3 pm on a Tuesday and parked up front. No waiting. It's worth the wait plus they have 3 peacocks which are entertaining.
When I went parking was free and it was $15 per person for the golf cart tour with $15 for adult admission.
Buy tickets and in by 9
If you call during business hours, you can get more information. 9pm is closing.
They do sell food at the Chipmunk Cafe, but i believe you are welcome to bring your own food as well. There are even a couple of picnic tables here and there.
I don't believe they do.
If you wait to by them at the location, the line is usually longer. When we went, you could go straight to the front of the line if you already had tickets online.
