Outstanding and you just have to take your time to soak it all in, or you'll miss something! There's so much beauty and history all in one place for you to enjoy! Every room is loaded with more and more...... worth taking the day to explore and worth spending the money to explore! It's worthy of an additional visit incase we missed something the first time! You won't be disappointed! What an asset to the entire area! 👏
Rogue toast
Very popular place. Lots of fun and educational. It definitely has the WOW factor. Be sure to give your self at least 3 hours just for the aquarium. Scooters are available. I had to get one 1/4 of the way through. Very friendly and helpful staff. I compare Jonny Morris too John Hammond ,"Spared no expense "
Samantha Baldyga
The tickets are pricy but so worth it. The museum and aquarium are huge and all indoor. Real life penguins and alligators with a lot of taxidermy animals on display. It took us about 3 hours or so to see everything and that was going at a somewhat fast pace. They have a café for snacks and drinks about half way though before you reach the aquarium. Pretty cool experience and better than most zoos I have been to.

Wow 2 hours was definitely not enough time to really enjoy this place. We arrived late, and the ticket booth informed us that the delivery guided tour usually takes about 3h 45 min to get through. We paid full price and did it anyway, walking through most of it and stopping at the most interesting things we came across. Towards the end of the aquarium, you'll find a large pool of sting rays and manta rays. As they good across the water, you're allowed to gently brush against their wings with two fingers as they pass by. We found them to be somewhat shy. Out of the ten minutes my 4-year old and I spent with our hands in the pool, we pet maybe 2 rays. Note: You'll see the ray pool about midway through the aquarium, but don't stress yourself out trying to find it. It's literally near the end of the tour and you'll get there eventually. Enjoy the aquarium first!

Senior discount (65 & over) is 10% off.
I know I don't know u but since it's a public place and I love sharing....I have season passes and I am allowed to take 2 guests. I would be happy to take you. You would just have to pay for any additional guests :)
Its split into 2 places the combo ticket is Children: $23.95 Adults: $39.95. For just the aquarium it's $19.95 kids and $29.95 adults. And the wildlife galleries is $9.95 kids $14.95 adults. They also have annual memberships like a amusement park. $95 individual, $250 Family, and $300 Family + 2 guest passes
They do have scooters available.
I git a veterans discount and a senior citizen discount for the wife. About 6.00 each discount. Handicap accessible on every level. Well worth the cost!
WOW is a non-for profit foundation that supports itself from ticket sales and donations.
You can touch horse shoe crabs easily, but the sharks and stingray tank is deeper to keep from stressing them out. Sometimes they come close and you can touch them.
After closing, when the lights go out. Lots of bodyless heads hopping around too.
They are allowed. They have a snack stand 1/2 through the aquarium and sell soda, tea, and coffee along with popcorn, pretzels, and nachos.
When you get there
http://www.wondersofwildlife.org/tickets/local-promotions.html
If you can go more than once then yes. It is really a great place.
No you can stay as little or long as you'd like with the exception of opening and closing times lol.. it took us about 4.5 hrs but I'm slow and have to look and read everything
Yes there is. It doesn't matter if you are active veteran disabled or retired
Yes we were able to walk right in and get them
It's open to the public for general admission with purchase of a ticket or annual pass. You can stop bye anytime during regular business hours.theyre open 10am-5pm with extended hours friday, sat, sun
If you visit and decide you want to come back multiple times and bring your family you can have people added on to your yearly pass. I have a family member who wanted to be able to bring all of her grandchildren so she is allowed unlimited entries per year with up to eight people at one time. The upfront price for the passes might give you pause, but if you think it's something new will use regularly then it's definitely worth it. In my opinion you could visit this place dozens of times and still not see everything.
We went this past weekend from Tulsa,ok. We felt it was worth it to travel and the ticket price was very reasonable for what we got. From Tulsa, its just a bit over 2.5 hours.
Across the street is a basspro hotel. I don't know how much . You would be better off staying at a comfort suite down the road for $100.
Please check their website for pricing information.
Service dogs are welcome everywhere and well behaved dogs in the store but dogs are NOT allowed in the museums
I would suggest calling them and ask.
$39.95 + tax per each adult for combo tickets to both the aquarium and the gallery. $29.95 to just the aquarium, and 14.95 for just the gallery. An FYI the penguins are in the gallery not the aquarium.
They are posted now.
It took me about three hours but I walk slow.
There were no penguins 2 weeks ago when we were there.
Approximately $50/adult. $15/kid. Tip: Buy online. It's cheaper. Wish we would have known.
Yes they do!
Yes they do. Electric cars. And everything is wheelchair accessible.
10 AM
You can take your time to look at everything. Just make sure you give yourself enough time before they close.
Yes, small sharks
We went through the aquarium and most of the museum in about 3 hours. We pretty much took out time and even stopped for popcorn in the middle
I believe it is 1
Yes it is. There was a guy in a wheel chair there when we were going through. They have elevators where are stairs. They also have electric scooters available for both WOW and Bass Pro.
We didn't do the shark dive it's 35$. I thought it was a little steep after the price you have to pay to get in the aquarium. I've took pics from the other side and I didn't see any going near the cage.
$44 per adult $22 for 3 and older, I got the pass for the aquarium and the museum
Yes they do, and they have everything accessible through small two-level elevators well labeled and scattered through the building.
If you're a local of certain county's listed below Missouri Kansas Oklahoma Arkansas it is half price for adults and children. MISSOURI BARRY BARTON BATES BENTON CAMDEN CASS CEDAR CHRISTIAN DADE DALLAS DENT DOUGLAS GREENE HENRY HICKORY HOWELL JASPER JOHNSON LACLEDE LAWRENCE MARIES MCDONALD MILLER MORGAN NEWTON OREGON OZARK PETTIS PHELPS POLK PULASKI SHANNON ST. State of Animation!
I've only been to the aquarium side and we rushed through in 2 hours. I'd say 3-4 for the aquarium.
If you are looking to go to Dogwood Canyon and wonders of life the cost for Adults is $49.95. If you are wanting to go to just Wonders of Wildlife (Aquarium and Wildlife Galleries) it is $39.95 for adults. Other options: Admission to just the aquarium is $29.95 for adults and then admission to just the wildlife galleries is $14.95 for adults. Military and veterans receive a 10% off discount at the ticket booth! :)
It is $39.99 to see both the museum and the aquarium. Allow 4 hours to see them and it is over one and a half miles of walking. There are elevators to take you to the different levels if you can't climb steps. It is very good.
I'm not sure on cost, but there is a lot of walking. However, the whole place is wheelchair accessible. I'm not sure if they have any for rent, but your experience wouldn't be impacted by a wheelchair.
A cafe at the beginning/end, a snack bar about halfway through. Think movie theater prices.
Im not sure bout the student discount. You can go onto their website and it lists all the prices, children, adults, veterans, military, seniors etc.
Yes, it is quite nice. Has a lot of Wonders of Wildlife souvenirs, stuffed animals/marine stuffed animals, candy, toys, and other nice gifts.
Check out family season pass... Might be a cheaper way
No reservations just take your id and pass
Yes there is which is an amazing thing!
Yes they do. They also have elevators throughout the store as well as the museum.
They do. You rent it at the beginning and I believe we paid $20 for one for mom.
Yes. Leave and return. Very family-friendly.
We got there at 11 and before we knew it it was 2:30 and the only thing that told us that it was that late was our stomachs :-) the place is awesome to see.
With 4 grandkids, it took us 3 hrs 15 min
There's a BIG renovation/addition going on there, at the moment, that's supposed to "put Bass Pro on the world map". Be wary of all the hype surrounding this place for a bit, and check your facts indeed!
Call them, they are willing to work with you.
Just call them. They should be able to answer your questions. There is alot of info on their website. I did everything online.
About every fish you can think of including eels and giant grouper!
I don't believe so. I also couldn't find where tickets are refundable if you order in advance.
Yes. Wheelchairs free. Electronic scooters $25
24.95$ a child . I think its free under a certain age . Also adult tickets are much cheaper online on their website . I paid 51$ on site . I see tickets on their website for 39$
49 for all events day pass 75 for all events annual pass - veterans & seniors get discounts.
There is food there. Not sure if you can eat inside the aquarium though.
No we didnt, but we saw two young boys in a shark cage with them
I believe there are guest discounts associated with season passes. Also I believe there are special monthly offers.
$38 gets you in to museum and aquarium. Takes 2 to 4 hours to see everything. Best aquarium experience EVER!
My family and I just went there since they started the mandatory masks, we went to the wonders of wildlife and through Bass pro and ate at Hemingway's. It was mandatory mask everywhere except for while you're sitting down to eat at Hemingway's
They do have them yes just asked at the ticket counter or even the greeter could probably get you hooked up with one
Yes, the daily fee also includes the museum. I highly recommend going through the museum.
No they do not.. just a locals discount which is half price
They are still open. Haven't heard anything about closing it.
I didn't see any carts at the museum, but they were available at the aquarium. So it may be worth calling and checking.
They do have free wheelchairs but I didn't see any electric scooters. Be sure you have someone who can push because there are several ramps that are somewhat long and/or steep. We had to push the chair a few times. The are several elevators for the parts with stairs.
I think the yearly pass is a great value, I believe the passes are around$50
There is for veterans, they should have a discount for first responders if they don't.
I don't work there. So I don't know. But that's a vary good question. I think they were losing out on a lot of money.
30 dollars
The only day they are closed is Christmas day.
$60 during summer $37 this season if you buy online 24hrs ahead, unless you live in the area they consider a neighbor (which is pretty large) then it's $25 check it out on thier website we live 4hrs away and were almost in range for the discount.
No gift cards
The season passes have your picture on them no way to use someones
I'm really not sure. I apologise
My contact at WOW just texted me and said YES they do!
I'm not sure but I know they have highly discounted tickets for locals, many counties around the area qualify
$2 off if you buy tickets online (wondersofwildlife.org). They are also offering a $20 discount if you live in a nearby county (over 60 are currently listed on their site).
Not sure, havent heard about it being free. You might check online or call.
$47 for both the museum and the aquarium.
We went it the middle of the week and there were fewer people so we didn't feel rushed. Definitely, don't go on a holiday! The exhibits are great. You really need to allow 3+ hours for the aquarium and museum.
Or go ahead and spend $50 per person and get a 1 yr membership. Worth the extra cost
Yes, it has an entirely separate ticket office for just the Aquarium.
Yes for seniors, military, and adjoining Greene county residents.
Unsure, however as Robert said you can call with any questions and they'll happily answer them.
CHILDREN: ALWAYS $19.95 (Ages 4–11) ADULTS: FROM $39.95 TO $47.95
Yes
Yes you need reservations.
There are discounts and it won't be as high as the other answers. Call them and ask for an exact price. And ask for the locals discount too!
No. It is just connected to bass pro.
There's a tour? Lol. Just kidding. We've been through at our own pace both times, love it.
I called WOW and they do have WC's . First come first served. They also have motorized scooters for rent.
They do not allow pets into the Wonders of Wildlife part they have to be service animals but you can take your pets in bass pro
Yes
We "buzzed" through both parts in right at 2 hours. But no children with us, and we did not look at all the trophies or through the "halls of fame". I have no info on bathroom facilities.
No picnic areas.
A combo ticket for the aquarium and wildlife museum is $23.95 for kids four to 11 and $39.95 for 12 and up. Tickets to the aquarium only are free for kidsunder age four, $19.95 for kidsfour to 11 and $$29.95 for 12 and older.
No, they can not. Called to verify.
Bass Pro focuses on a family experience, so the sale of things like alcohol are not going to happen here.
This is well worth seeing and you don't need beer to have a good time
Yes. And senior discount
I know that a single day pass is $47 a piece and that is for everything. I honestly am not sure about family passes but I do remember seeing them for purchase. The pass gets you access to all of the exhibits not just the aquarium so it is definitely worth it.
You may show on phone but you may want to call first to see if you are eligible for any discounts we got our tickets for half price because of where we lived
Checking the website is your best bet.
According to their website today is the last day March 31st. http://www.wondersofwildlife.org/news.html
They do have scooters and wheelchairs for rent, but I'm not sure how much they cost
You can take food and drinks inside. There are signs that tell you if you are entering a "no food or drink" area.
You ha e to pay extra
$22. Until March 31
Online tickets are $40 for adults, $20 for kids. At the gate, $44 and $22. I recommend buying online ahead of time!
I was totally unaware of this promotion, live in Springfield, and just paid full price for seven tickets LOL 🤨
Half price through the end of March. Adults are $22 each.
To get the Discount you must buy tickets on location. They will ask for verification of residence or try the membership options they have other promotions you can buy...
we took one yesterday without a problem
Right now 12$ for kids and 20$ for adults it's half off for people that can show proof of a license showing you live 100 miles from Bass pro..if you don't live within a 100 miles it's double the prices I've stated.
No - reservations are only for shark dives
No appointment needed, we were there 3-13-19 with 7 & got right in. Through the month of March if you live within 100 miles, admission is half price. There are also discounts for seniors, & military.
They are half price till the 31st of march for missouri residence. Should be round $20 per adult
If you hurry it's about two hours. If you want to really check it out, allow three. That's assuming both sides
If your local id just show up and wait in line. The tickets are half off for missouri residences till the 31st. We stood in line saturday for maybe 25mins didnt take very long.
You have to pay. If you live in MO it's half price for a few weeks
Yes it will be.
Yes until the end of the month. Show ur license
No unfortunately, Wonders of wildlife is closely affiliated to Bass Pro but they are a standalone non-profit entity.
Yes, the museum parts connect. The aquarium is seperate.
With my membership I can only bring one guest if I am present. And my husband can bring one guest if he is present. I think the number of guests you can bring using membership cards is limited.
Sure he does
No....I'm local..I paid 160$ for 3 kids and 2 adults...
Through the end of March
Not to my knowledge but you might check with them directly
They should have it on file !
$29.95 for an adult ticket to only the aquarium.
I am not sure what admission is for a child and I dont remember what the admission is for an adult either. There are three different areas you can visit and each has a fee or I think you can buy a combo ticket. I only did the aquarium. You can find the fees and hours if you look up bass pro aquarium or wonders of wildlife in Springfield. It will say on their website.
Not sure but I think yes... Call them first
Viewing the Aquarium only is about $10 per person than adding the museum. That option was not listed on the signage. We only had about three hours to spend and we easily spent that in the aquarium. It goes on and on but the displays are excellently designed.
Yes, enjoy!!!👍
Only from the original emailed receipt and tickets.
I really don't know
Yeah, same. Alot of people but not to many to not enjoy it.
I don't believe so... you might give them a call or check on line. ☃️🎄🎁
Yes, you can go to their website and order from the link above. Thank you, Martha and Ann. :)
No
Sorry but we've looked and outside being seniors we could not find any other discounts.
They sure do and they are having a veterans day sale at bass pro shop as well!
Bass Pro Shop it is an awesome place to be
I don't know about holiday hours but I can say that if you walk at a normal pace and really look at stuff just the aquarium part will take over 3 hours.
Yes
They have around three aquariums with sharks one has a lepard shark (which is for some reason listed as a tiger shark) and a reef shark in the round aquarium you walk around and can walk in like a big room. Across from there are the tiny fish that are swimming in almost like a ball form, there is also a very small black tip reef shark in that tank. The biggest tank with sharks contains two or three large sand tiger sharks and two or three large reef sharks (plus grouper and I believe a baracuda). In that tank if you pay and sign up you can get in a cage to get in the water with them. They are currently building an add on to what look a like the aquarium side but not sure what they are adding.
It's easier to park around the back.
Could have been a misunderstanding. They have people in amd out all day long, mistakes are made, but i'm sure if you call and let them know what happened, they will fix it somehow.
We bought a family pass which lets us bring the grandkids.
Yes.
It's the best money you'll ever spend. I've been to alot of museums , this is one of thee best.
Yes they do an you are able to swim with the sharks, it's called a shark dive.
http://www.wondersofwildlife.org/tickets/ It's going to take more than 2 hours to see everything. It took us around 4 and 1/2 hours just to get through the aquarium. 13 year olds are in the adult ticket age range so 2 adult tickets will have to be bought. The combo tickets (aquarium and wildlife galleries) for example for 2 was $79.90 total.
We offer various options for mobility as well. Just see guest services for help.
Yes
You can park on the North side off of sunshine or in the Bass Pro parking lot. if I am going to the aquarium I enter from W sunshine, just the Museum enter from S Campbell.
To quote: For the health and safety of your animal and ours, emotional support/comfort/therapy animals and pets are not permitted within Wonders of Wildlife. ... While closely affiliated with Bass Pro Shops, Wonders of Wildlife is a standalone non-profit entity.
I believe there was a first responders discount also
I think 4 and under is free
I don't think there is any advantage to purchasing tickets online ahead of time. Just buy tickets when you get there. That way you dont have to worry about refunds.
Two different days
It depends on you
I've had my lab in thr Bass Pro before.... But not Museum or Aquarium
They have penguins in the wildlife side.
I don't believe that they are Running any open early hrs. Because they open at 10 and are open till 8pm. So I highly doubt it!! I Highly Suggest if you have younger children go through the Dead Hall first then the Aquarium is After that... My sons call it the Dead Hall because its a Beautiful Hall Paying Tribute to All Animals as Well as The Bass Fisherman Hall of Fame, the Deer room, the Native American Hall Which Is Absolutely Beautiful... Your going to Love it All..!! ENJOY!!! Have a Blessed Day!!!
Bass pro inn across the street
We were there last Wednesday. Bought tickets there. The are no assigned times. Be sure and allow plenty of time. We bought the combo ticket to go to the aquarium also. We spent around 5 hours going through with about 30 min. break for lunch.
Ticket holder has to be present
Service animals are allowed but I don't believe they allow unmarked pets in the aquarium side. Bass Pro allows pets, hunting dogs etc.
10am to 8pm but the hours are listed on Google almost right where you typed in this question
You can just go in whenever you get there. Place is big enough to accommodate a lot of people at once.
It isnt a bad price there are many things to see
Its advised to arrive at the intended time due to the amount of walk-ins. Their is a capacity level that has to be up held and the only way to ensure that is by showing up at the allotted time.
$29.95, $3 off for seniors.
The discount is 10% for seniors over 65 and military. You can get further discounts with a yearly membership.
If you are local, it's best to get a season pass because you will want to return several times and you can bring a guest. Check their website for pricing information.
It was $40 when we went last week... Expensive, but truly worth it... Amazing...
Lmao if ya cant say elephants ya prob shouldn't be complaing ..😂😂😂😂
The original opened in Nov 2001 and was closed in 2007 for it's $52 million expansion. It reopened in Sept 2017.
Are you asking if it currently does house those things? Currently the wildlife galleries feature a large collection of artwork including murals. It isn't the same as the Springfield Art Museum though. I'm not sure about the second part of your statement. If you could clarify, I'd be glad to help!
Just take the stairs up toward the giant deer statue right behind the main entry. One of the entries is right there. The other is at the main entrane of the WOW on the west side.
Days Inn Springfield South is across the street. And LA Quinta is about a mile south.
The photo deal is between where the museum ends and aquarium begins outside of the gift shop
There is senior discount, military discount that I know of. If you are a member of their bluegreen you may also have a discount unsure but usually there are perks.
To make the blue lighting stand out to feel like your in the ocean as well as to let the colors of the fish stand out. I love it.
You can buy tickets there, not necessary to buy ahead. No issues getting them on feb. 23 my family of 5 walked right in to the ticket booth which is located above the main entrance. Purchased and went straight in. Absolutely well worth it. Go to both museum and aquarium.
I think there is a an entire package for $35 that we bought with both pictures and frames for the fridge. I'm not sure if that was just a special or and all the time thing. You may just call and ask in case. :)
There is Fantastic Caverns, a cave you ride through and there is Route 66 car museum. But I would echo some of the other comments. Wonders if the World is great and you'll want to allow yourself plenty of time. With a hand stamp you can leave (like to go eat) and then return the same day.
Prices vary depending on season 25-40 for adults. Kids under 4 are free.
I dont know but if you have a group of ten you get a discount and they do have an area like for conventions you might wanma call and ask
I would call it more like a snack bar. There are two in the facility.
I would call and ask them. For instance, as for other establishments, usually only one discount can be used.
I think it's for any child under 18. We have taken our grandkids. But best to call and ask.
For both: CHILDREN:$23.95 (Ages 4–11) ADULTS:$39.95 WILDLIFE GALLERIES: CHILDREN:$9.95 (Ages 4–11) ADULTS:$14.95 AQUARIUM ADVENTURE: CHILDREN:$19.95 (Ages 4–11) ADULTS:$29.95
It would be a good idea to call and ask them , they are very friendly
It's not even in the same class as the place it once was. It is amazing.
The aquarium is new and it is amazing to walk through. Well worth the ticket prices!
Same reason some people have brown or black hair
Oh goodness I believe there is one on the corner of sunshine and battlefield just up the road from there but I can't think of the name.
Yes. Owls, eagle, there is a bat cave as well

No
No, as an app, Talking Tom does not go anywhere. Wonders of Wildlife is simply an aquarium and wildlife museum
When we were there they had divers feeding the fish. There was a staff member there monitoring them and telling the crowd about the care of the fish. He said they are removed.
You should new able to use the card they have you when they took the picture. Contact them and they should be able to help.
No, it is not actually part of Bass Pro. It is its own seperate thing.
You can also enter thru bass pro sjops nain ebtrabce. Elevator and escalators are rught in front as you enter
They were closed on Christmas Day but I think they are open on New Year's Day.
Yes. When you buy the combo ticket it's 39.95 for adults.
We have a one year old 4 years and eight everyone enjoyed themselves
They will be open new year's Eve and day but closing early on new year's Eve at 6pm and no discounts for holidays
Either way you like it's easier and quicker on line make sure to print them out before you go
Just For the aquarium CHILDREN: $19.95 (Ages 4–11) ADULTS: $29.95
The aquarium is 29.95 adults, children (4-11) 19.95. Wildlife galleries adult 14.95 children 9.95. Combo adults 39.95 children 23.95
The website only lists senior and military discounts.
No discounts yet, I'm guessing locals will start getting a discount soon
The website doesn't have one, nor can i find any coupons or discount codes. Sorry. Its a great investment. We have the highest level and it includes 2 transferable passes you can use for anyone you want. I get my grandkids in for free (all under 18) and use the passes for my kids. Everybody goes and grandma doesn't have to be in charge 😎
Both are open. There is a split entrance and a way to go from one to the other.
I'm not sure. You can purchase a year-long pass for the entire family.
There isn't a discount for the disabled. We are deaf and found out that the film's have sound but they don't have Closed Caption. When we asked we were told only for senoir, military and AAA members.
There is a lot of parking West of WOW.
I don't know. That would be a question for Bass Pro to answer.
Replicas... Actually pretty impressive ones. Edit: They just recently added a swim with a shark experience. Obviously you are in a cage in the tank.
Yes but use of flash is not recommended in some exhibits. Some of the critters are flash sensitive or still adjusting to their environment.
Yes, and I got my senior discount being only 51! It's definitely worth the cost. It took us five hours to venture through the museum and we're ready to go back after only two weeks.
I had my 11 year old son with me. We did the museum and the aquarium in about three and a half hours but that wasn't even getting to look at everything. He was so excited he just couldn't wait to see what was around the next Corner what was around the next corner. We are going back next weekend and taking our time but you could literally turn the aquarium in the museum into an all-day trip. Decently priced food, drinks, and activities.
Yes, both, and I got the senior discount being age 51!
Its $39.95 for the whole museum or $29.95 for just the aquarium
I have no idea
Yes
It's only an hour from Branson, there are RV parks everywhere.
SCHEDULE: Open daily except Christmas Day HOURS: Open daily from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. (5 p.m. on off-peak dates to be announced)
Yes, the have elevators and ramps.
Today is the dedication..... when is the facility open for viewing?
