You can buy tickets there, not necessary to buy ahead. No issues getting them on feb. 23 my family of 5 walked right in to the ticket booth which is located above the main entrance. Purchased and went straight in. Absolutely well worth it. Go to both museum and aquarium.

The ticket sales is to the right when you walk in. I think the only reason to get tickets beforehand is if you are going at a particularly busy time. They have timed entry, AFTER you purchase tickets IF there are too many people already inside.
You can buy tickets at Bass Pro as well, but during peak times you might have to wait a little while to get in to the facility. We went in the middle of the week and got our tickets at the door and were able to walk right in without any wait. If you are concerned, I would just call bass pro before you are planning on going in and they will let you know the best option for you at that time.
You can also buy when you get there.
You need to get tickets before hand. They separate ticket sales into time groups so that no one feels rushed by the next group going in.
We bought beforehand, an indicated a time of our arrival, (10-11:00 a.m.) brought the printout with bar code went right through.
