Both are open. There is a split entrance and a way to go from one to the other.
Once you go through the main entrance head straight up the escalators and there is the entrance to the part you missed.
It is open, along with a race car museum. We went in through Bass Pro and were able to see all that is completed. Well worth the time!
The wild life museum is before the aquarium and it is worth going back to see

It is open....you just missed it. We did the wildlife museum first and then the aquarium.
It is open it is a seperate ticket. I only did the aquarium and took us 3.5 hrs to see it all. Will go to wildlife next time.
