I genuinely like my apartment and I like the area, it's convenient and relatively quiet. However, after the first month or two, things got pretty bad when they ere in the process of switching management. No one was informed of what was happening, there was no one available by phone or email, and when it came time to pay rent it was a nightmare. There used to be an online payment portal, but the new one won't recognize my credentials and let me sign in even after I called to confirm I was doing everything correctly. The new office staff is nice and they answer my calls/ emails, and there is a maintenance guy named Zack who is really awesome. However, there's been a leak in my HVAC and i was not informed beforehand of when maintenance would be coming to my apartment (I was unaware of the leak). The first time it happened, there was no note or notification, and I was not home to answer the door. When i got home things were left open and things were not in the right places. The staff apologized for not notifying me, which i appreciated . But then someone came by again, without prior notification. My boyfriend was home and answered, so it was okay, but I emailed them with my frustration asking them to please notify me beforehand as it's inconvenient and also just courteous to do so. But maintenance stopped by again today and I did not receive prior notice as requested, even after they replied saying they would attempt to notify me beforehand. I understand a water leak is a big deal and obviously needs fixing, and they are allowed to do so, but i feel like asking for a heads up is a reasonable request. So I guess the takeaway is that there's pros and cons to living here. Be aware that in NC, there is no clause in the law saying that landlords cannot enter basically whenever they need to.

Sadly the worst apartment experience I have ever had. I STILL have maintenance requests that have not been fixed that I put in when I moved in over a year ago. Huge pest problem that was not taken care of when asked. Management is constantly changing and is not at all responsive via call, email, etc. to help. Sincerely not worth the price.

I’ve been living here for about 6 months now and when I first moved in everything was going fine but now I feel as if the place is falling apart. I put in a work order for maintenance to fix a leak (a very bad one with mold and everything) and it took them a month to fix it and that was due to the fact that I had to complain in person and do an emergency work order. I get that they are low staffed and are switching management but I feel as if this is a constant issue with this place. I more than likely will not be living here next year.

Best I can say is for ya'll to tear it all down and just plain rebuild it all. Rent is too expensive for the quality of what we get. Staff is great and doing their best with what they got but I know everyone is getting burnt out. If there are any plans to renew these buildings and improving them immensely, please let it be known. My friends have moved out already and the lone wolf. This is my last year also. I find it a shame. Such a nice pocket of quietness to stay in, in a busy area. Close to the highway and the mall but completely horrible quality apartment homes.
