Chamberlain Place Apartments

This community is great and so is the staff. Maintenance is very prompt. The apartment homes have vaulted ceilings, gas fireplaces and HUGE walk in closets. It's also a gated community. I have nothing but good things to say about Chamberlain Place.

Chamberlain Place Apartments is a gated community when dark and they are awesome! The floor plans are open with spacious closets tiled bathroom and kitchen floors gas logs in the fireplaces nice patios or decks and available garages to rent as well. The pool is excellent and there is an area to grill for picnics as well. It is a great walking community with a tennis court and a workout room. We never had a problem with the staff and the maintenance staff was quick to repair any issues. We loved living there!

I emailed this place specifically asking if they had any breed restrictions at all. I received an email the next day explaining that they allowed all breeds. We went there with our pitbull where the whole staff saw and met her, viewed the apartment that was available and instantly loved it, put money down to put a hold on the apartment and for the application fee. We did this on a Saturday so we waited all weekend excited to hear the good news of getting approved but come Monday we get a call saying "I'm sorry but we don't allow aggressive breeds. Would you like to come pick up your checks?" The only aggressive breeds out there are the ignorant people who work at this place. I am so tired of being denied a home because of ignorant people who don't know jack about "aggressive breeds." Thank you so much for wasted time.

We have lived at these apartments for the past 6 months. Here are some thoughts - #1 - bugs in first floor apartments during summer #2 - ceilings are VERY thin, we hear EVERYTHING our neighbors above us do! Keeps our kids awake day/night. First floor living convenient for moving in, not for living! #3 - Not enough hot water for more than 1 person in the winter due to hot water heaters outside with poor insulation #4 - "dog park" and "walking trail" advertised by apartment - hardly worth the steps to get there #5 - pool bathrooms not kept tidy during the summer months, no soap for hand washing all summer
