Share the sentiment of others. Beautiful apartments, maintenance tech is terrific, management is ridiculously bad. Can’t tell you how many questions and emails I’ve sent that have gone ignored/unanswered. They’ve had 2 social events in 18 months - one just didn’t happen with no notice or explanation, the second one a sign was put out the day of/after the event had started. I’m in property management-there is no excuse for the terrible service. Out of town owners have taken a beautiful building and are running it into the ground. **Update 8/22 - for the first time in 15 months I have gotten some response and it seems like there is property manager in place who seems to want to improve the situation. I am hopeful things are getting better.

So yes, at the end of the day this is a horrible place to live. The building is great, the floorplans are good, and the location is wonderful. The train isn't too bad, I can count on one hand the number of times it woke me up in 10 months. If you work third shift, yes it will bother you. The management is what makes this place horrendous. There must be a reason we had 4 different people to contact in just 10 months. Yes we left early it was so bad. We spent 3 months with a malfunctioning HVAC system, no AC in September, no heat in January. We tried to accommodate their demand of flipping a breaker off and on and trying again for months. Which led to coming home to an 80+ degree apartment with a very warm dog in it multiple times. When we reached our breaking point the building manager would not respond. When she did finally call, she refused to put anything in writing I assume because she knows they have to provide heat. She never even said I'm sorry for your problems, let me get on this. Nope, just heard crickets. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, she proclaimed "I don't have a supervisor." J the maintenance guy is at least nice, but again 3+ months of AC / heat malfunctioning. They only communicate via email because it's an "e community" which means they respond when they want if they want. There is no one from management in the building! Communication is so bad I've been locked out, and locked in on separate occasions. The dog park is so nice every single apartment building around uses it. It's far from exclusive or secure. I cannot convey how difficult it is to deal with Tribridge. I would urge anyone to avoid this place as long as they oversee it. The Link at IQ and Winston Factory Lofts are next door and from what I've heard, staff actually work at those places.

We love living in Gallery Lofts! Here is a breakdown of our experience so far (6 months in to our lease): Location: Unbeatable! Four blocks maximum from all of the best food and drinks downtown. Parking: We can almost always find a spot in the gated parking lot. The gate is sometimes out of order, but is usually fixed same day. If the lot is full, we've never been unable to find a street spot within a block of the building. Amenities: The roof area is great. Gym has nice equipment and we love using it. The dog park is an amazing perk that no other downtown apartment can compete with! Gated, with a code that changes regularly to prevent non-residents from using it. Well-lit at night, so I feel safe using it! Apartment: Spacious, huge windows, gorgeous floors, and pretty good kitchen/bathroom appliances. The washer and dryer aren't great, but they work fine. Our biggest problem is the TRAIN! It comes right by our widow and it is LOUD! We've heard it come through any time between 6AM and 2AM. However, you get more used to it over time and we fall right back asleep. If we worked from home or had small children, it may be more of an issue. For us, it is a small price to pay for a great apartment downtown.

Stay away. There are PLENTY of other options in the downtown Winston-Salem area. I am not sure where to begin on my sheer disappointment with the Gallery lofts. The building is beautiful, but the management is horrible. Communication is disgraceful. In less than a year we’ve had 4 property managers. They call it an “e-community” meaning no one works there – try calling or emailing them and you’ll get no response. It should be called a self-run community. The maintenance guy is the only employee who is there every day, and he does a great job with the minimal resources that he has. He is always friendly and speaks to everyone. My dog especially loved him. A few examples of the dysfunction of this place: They fenced in the dog park and everyone in neighboring buildings knows the code, so the park is so busy it is basically unusable by those paying rent. I emailed the manager, Topaz, two or three times about this, and she never responded. The door lock freezes in the winter and the only way to get in and out is to pry it open with a credit card! How secure. We had a power outage that affected the key fobs unlocking the doors. It took about 4 hours AFTER the outage for anyone from management to email us that the doors weren’t working causing multiple people to be locked out of the building. We had a snowstorm, and NOTHING was shoveled for over a week. If you tried to get out of the building, you took your life in your hands. They didn’t even put salt down on the sidewalks. Across the street the Link apartments and the Factory Lofts we’re cleared. Walking my dog or leaving to go to work was a MESS. Within 4 months of living there we 100% knew that we we’re not going to renew our lease. Luckily, we found a condo downtown that we recently purchased and broke our lease early. I hate to give them two additional months or rent because I know 100%, they will not try to rent my place early, but I couldn’t stay there any longer. Save your frustration and go somewhere else. You won’t regret it.
