MyBadBroTv
This place is so horrible! I been trying to contact someone for ages
kavita kalpee
I am convinced they don’t actually have an operator in this office. I have tried reaching them for months and nobody answers when I press 0 for the operator.

What is the cost to renew passport for 60 years and over
You are right, they are lame, was calling for someone for info, geese good thing I get rid of my tnt citizenship yes
Where can I find answers to these QUESTIONS
Can I get an identification card through the consulate?
How can I renew my passport
Do I need an appointment to renew my passport? What documentations do I need other than birth certificate, green card & photos? How much does it cost to renew passport & how many money orders do I need to bring?
In Trinidad 60 and over is Free, what is the cost at the US Consulate? Can someone please answer, thank you.
No yu need original forms..
🤣🤣🤣 apparently, not or not often. I always tell people, take the day off & be physically present in the Consulate to do your business.
I was told by the embassy staff that it will takes up to 4 months to get a passport.
You most likely have to go in. They really neglect the phones. I've seen them not answer it 😑
No just call and be there as early as possible and u wait your turn
From experience call about 1:30 - 1:45pm and just might get someone to answer the phone, I did on Wednesday afternoon
They are open monday to friday from 10am to 2pm and working very efficient.
June 1, 2016: The Ministry of National Security Immigration Division wishes to inform that effective today, June 1, 2016, citizens of Trinidad and Tobago who are sixty (60) years and over will be exempted from paying the application fee of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) for a Trinidad and Tobago Passport. This announcement is pursuant to Government’s commitment as presented in the 2015/2016 budget statement. The public is asked to note that this exemption does not apply to expedited requests or replacement of lost or mutilated passports which will be subject to the fees applicable to those services.
Call them and find out
No appointment and you'll need a money order for $60. There will be a wait thou.....
$60.00 money order plus $15.00 if you want them to mail it to you or just $60 to go pick it up
Once you can prove that you're traveling and need it in a hurry (have your itinerary with your as proof) you pay the fee to expedite it.
No you have to go into the consulate to renew your passport. You can however pay to have it mailed to you instead of going in person to pick it up.
It's weird how the inconsistency is with the phone answering especially earlier in the day. It's better to just go as they open at 830.
No, you don't. When you take in your application they will give you a pick up date.
Because they are triple.
$6 money order, once you had the first electronic birth certificate(the bluish color with the pin number)
Go up there and tell them they will give you the form to fill out
Contact the Embassy for that.
Lost passport what is the procedure
How long does it take to extend your Trinidad and Tobago passport and what documents is needed
No one will answer
I have sent them three emails, no answer as yet.
Yes. Go to their website.. there is a form to fill out and submit for the appointment.
You apply online and u can have it delivered to an address either in Trinidad or USA
Yes if you have a machine readable passport you can mail your application and required documents or give them a call if it's your first time getting a machine readable passport you have to fill out an appointment form with passport information, the form is found on their website, download it fill it out and email it back to them, they will let you know when to send your application and documents through email, it took 2 months for them to get back to me about sending my application and documents
Maybe you can get a travel document?
You have to either call or go online to make an appointment once you do that those guards can't say anything
Yes you can just call them and ask them what you need
Well you don't want them to tell you , you wrote the wrong name when you get to the window. So I'll wait to get to the window let them tell me what name to fill in. Might by your lucky day it's being made out to a new name.
An application that you can download online if you don't make an appointment to go to the Consulate General office in Manhattan
Yes But you have to fill out the new mrp application
Not to the public at this point. I visited one week ago and was unable to get past security. Had to certify mail in passport for renewal.
Check the Consulate's website. It details all the documents needed and the process.
Yes that will be great
Go directly to the website and it will direct you to fill out a form (depending on what it's for) and email it to them. They will let you know how to proceed once they've received your email.
Bring your police report and it should be a month. But with covid who knows.
From Your name an address. To : Trinidad and Tobago consulate general..
You have to submit all the required documents and mail them in to the consulate. When recieved they will notify you by mail.
No
Not the office. U have to do everything online .
All applications are done by mail only..You must submit originals and color copies of each document...Hope this is helpful...Goodluck..
No, you can mail it in, instructions are on the website
They are not doing any in person transactions, I had to mail-in my passport renewal
Yes
I went there just over a week ago and it was closed.
You have to get a money order for $11 , the old birth certificate and the form from the consulate filled out
At the consulate at 125 maiden lane
No, you have to go with your expired passport to pu.
Most likely not...check website
No you don't
Still bring the old one with you and fill out the renewal form and the money order which I think is $60 but check their website for the the exact amount and it had to be a money order.
The answer is "yes" to both your questions.
A Bank
No you must get a new one
Old Passport. NewBirth Certificate
They close at 2pm ,also if there is a hoilday in Trinidad they will be close
Appointments are needed to renew the old passports only
It is included in the $60
Thanksgiving day they close other days they are open I am not sure about Black Friday
Yes they changed the way things were done a few weeks ago. No more walkins to renew your passport. Go down thete and make appointment to come back with all documents needed
I am not sure ,you can call the office to find out
Yes
Yes you can your old birth certificate another form of Trinidad ID like your passport and a money order. You will be given a form from the embassy to fill out.
I went in on Tuesday 22nd October and I was given the form the fill out (if the security guy is not there the lady in the office will BUT you HAVE TO ASK otherwise she will not offer to give it to you). You need a color copy of the biometric page of your passport. They do that for you downstairs on the left when you walk into the building or it will be on your right if coming down on the elevator. You'll need a $60 money order that I got from the post office a few blocks away. If you want them to mail the passport to you, add an extra $15 to the money order. I did the $60 and $15 money order separate but it is not necessary. Just make sure you have $75 total if you want it mailed to you. If married and want your passport to reflect your married surname, walk with the OFFICAL marriage license. If you are a permanent resident, have that card ready for them at the office. I arrived at 9:15am and was out at 10:09am. I had all documents with me on arrival because I came the day b4.
I don't think so
I will give you my honest answer, I was there a week ago doing the same, it goes relatively fast if you have all your documents and copies of the original documents, also have your paperwork already filled out before you go. 1 to 2 hrs tops. Even faster if you get there by 8 to 830 am.
The passport was changed to 5 yrs under the UNC administration.
The Consulate Office are nolonger giving out extension on Passports. You will have the option of Purchasing a new passport with a pickup in their office or a pick up in Trinidad however their is no guarantee that you passport will be available when it's time to collect. If you choose to collect in Trinidad, you will be able to fly with a temp pass which they well collect in Trinbago's Customs. Just know you will be taking a chance with this option to collect in Trinidad Passport office.
Consulate General of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, New York 125 Maiden Lane, 4th Floor New York, N.Y. 10038
Go to the embassy in Trinidad and Tobago for assistance
It takes 6-8 weeks to recieve it, you will need to bring your passport, current id, your new trinidad and tobago birthpaper, a money order for the cost of the passport. Please visit the consulate site or call before you get there to verify the cost of the passport and the documents you will need.
I'm not sure maybe you can track your passport, when it arrives in the consulate, go in with your old pp and birth certificate..
You can pick up your passport mon thru fri before 2pm except if there is a holiday and they will be closed
You can also call the Consulate or go to the website and get the answers to your questions.
You can do it on line
Go to the consulate and they will guide you....I think you have to pay at least $11.00....ps walk with proof of identity.
You should actually be able to find it on their website under forms https://foreign.gov.tt/resources/documents/consulate-general-new-york-immigration-section-forms-and-information/
You dress as normally would if you are going to a place of business but you should not wear wings or hats or anything that alters your normal appearance because your picture has to be taken
$60 for an adult
I would continue to call until you get through. Try first thing in the morning.
Can my recommender be in another state
Documents you'll need are your passports and proof of address. You'll also need to pay Trinidad and Tobago marriage license fees. If either party has been divorced or widowed, then a copy of decree absolute or original death certificate must be presented. If either party is under 18 then parental consent is required. The cost for a marriage license is TT$62.50. You must also pay an additional TT$25.00 to obtain a certified copy of the Marriage Certificate. When either or both parties to the marriage are not citizens of Trinidad and Tobago, they should contact the Registrar General's Office before giving Notice of Marriage.
No
You can just apply for your Trinidadian passport
You can get a certificate I'd from the office but the actual id card is only given in Trinidad and tobago
You will have to go Trinidad and ask the customs officer where in Trinidad to go get your dual stamp for your US passport.
Get someone older than yourself that knows you to fill it out and sign it. If you already had a passport you may not need to fill that section out.
For an adult $60 US money order
You can ask to have it mailed to you and pay for that or you can just pick it up yourself
So sorry, but not sure, you should call the consulate for information.
Walk with your old birth certificate and or Trinidad pasport, and any US IDs....there is a post office around the corner, for money order for I think $11.00 or more but not pass $20., can't remember exact amt...and head to 125 Maiden lane down town Manhattan 4fl., but remember every first ad last Thursday the office closes half a day...all the best...blessed.
They close at 12 today
No
No
Yes you can. The form and instructions can be downloaded here: https://foreign.gov.tt/resources/documents/consulate-general-new-york/
No
You don't have to carry any photos. They are taken at the consulate
If you never had a machine readable passport, you would need to undergo that process...
6 months is correct!
Do not understand the question.
Keith, You will need a passport. For more information see the T&T Immigration website http://immigration.gov.tt/Services/EntryRequirements.aspx
The $60 money order is only if you will be collecting it at the embassy. It will be a little more if you want it mailed out to you.
Bring at least 2 colored copies, a $60 money order, 2 passport size photos, proof of marriage or divorce, birth certificate, social, proof if any change to status and either fill out the form when you get there or print out a legal size, fill it out at home and bring it in.
There is a firm in the website that comes with full instructions as well. https://foreign.gov.tt/missions-consuls/tt-missions-abroad/diplomatic-missions/consulate-general-new-york-us/
Most likely not. You may not be able to leave
Yes
All the info regarding this can be found on the instructions for lost and new passport renewals.
No.
It varies per age of the applicant check forms for complete info.
Yes, you can. Good question.
About 2 to 3 mths
Check the website
You need to go to the consulate if you can bring her with you they will come out of 5he office and take care of her. If you can't bring her make a call to the consulate they should still be able to let you know what is 5he next step.
No appointment needed, but check online to see what you need to carry with you. https://foreign.gov.tt/missions-consuls/tt-missions-abroad/diplomatic-missions/consulate-general-new-york-us/
It is good to make an appointment, but you can still go to the office and get attend to, they will not turn you away.
Depends on what you need. Check the website very informative
They did but you got yo keep calling
No you dont but check their website for business hours First Thursday and holidays
Was 5 years now it 10 years
If it is still valid you can use it. There is no need for a stamp.
Yes it is $20 US.
You can Google it...I think it's a I 102 or something like that
I would say best option would be to call early morning business hrs and speak with Rep they will give u all info. Make sure to take all documents on day of appt just in case.
Hey...did u receive an information sheet ?? they would have attached it to the receipt (yellow slip)..at the top of the information sheet there is a website to track the status...use the number they circled on the yellow slip(i'm not sure think its the receipt number).. https://foreign.gov.tt/missions-consuls/tt-missions-abroad/diplomatic-missions/consulate-general-new-york-us/passport-status/
1.No you dont need appointment 2. Once you hold machine readable passport you do not need doucument only if your status as in changes of marriage ,resident status , name change walk with those they will ask for color copy of passport of picture and colour copy changes of status . 3. I would say no you cannot travel on an expired passport. You can also call in and they will give you a lot more info on that.
You are better off calling the consulate directly to get your questions answered in my opinion.
Hi, if you plan to be back before your passport expired, you are all good to travel
You do not. i usually get through my business in one or two visits. What helps me is: 1. Being thoroughly prepared. Check the website beforehand, make calls to the consulate, print out forms and make multiple copies of everything. 2. Be early. The consulate opens usually is open by 8am. Not sure of it's standard business hours. 3. Be friendly. It goes a long way!
I think its 150 but they are not giving out passport for the next 6 months I had to get a travel document fly to Trinidad get my passport in Trinidad fly back to ny then fly to Europe yep it's a drag
If your pp expired, it's $98. If it is still valid, it can cost you up to $250 depending on the underlying circumstances.
Just go there and they will do it for a small fee
Look on the website, you'll get all info there. This is ask Google not the consulate.
Good night David. Your best bet is go to the website. This is ask Google the website will give you the best result.
Will I be able to keep my old passport while the renewal process is being done?
no
Yes you can.
If you possess the T&T Passport with the blue cover. You are required to bring your T&T Electronic Birth Certificate,ALL previous and present Marriage Certificates and Divorces. If you have citizenship for any other country besides T&T.You must bring your citizenship certificate or if by descent, the relevant parent Birth Certificate for that country. These documents must not be torn, deteriorating or mutilitated. If that is the case, you will be asked return on another day, after you retrieve new original or certify correct copies of these documents. All your ORIGINAL documents must have a certified correct stamp or seal endorsed upon them. You must have one COLORED copy of all originals. You must copy the bio data page of your passport.Any affidavits that done on your birth certificate must be included. If a Name Change document was done in the U.S. or T&T is must all be submitted.
No...you have to come to the Consulate to do your application for your new passport. Both forms must be submitted together. You must have a valid form of identication to undertake the process.Your Loss Passport Notification Form will need one passport size photo for that form. That form should be completed and you need to have the form notarized at the end with your passport size photo. You must complete the ordinary passport form. That form needs to recommended by a Trinidadian/Tobagonian who has a valid Trinidad and Tobago Identication(example T&T Passport,T&T I.D. Card or T&T Driver's License). You must bring your electronic Trinidad and Tobago Birth Certificate with a valid Identification(State or federal I.D.)
That depends on what type of passport you have in your possession. If you have the older type passport (blue book with laminate over the picture at the back). You would need your electronic Birth Certificate, your passport, your Green Card or if you have become a U.S. citizen you need your Naturalization Certificate with your U.S. passport. All of these documents must be brought together with colored photocopies. You must copy any extensions you may have received in the past on your Trinidad ans Tobago Passport. If you have a Machine Readable Passport( called MRP for short). This passport is a black book.Your passport form would be a single page GREEN BORDER form. You complete the single page form on both sides (front to back) and you copy the picture page of the passport(colored copy). If you received U.S. citizenship after receiving this passport the last time, you must bring in your U.S. Citizenship Naturalization Certificate and a Colored Copy. These instruction applies to you.
I am a resident and live in India. The embassy here does not have the facilities to accept biometric information. However they have issued me 2 year temporary MRP without the biometric info. The only places to submit this info is London NYC and Trinidad. So I have to fly all the way just to submit this info and renew my MRP. My question is how long does it take to acquire and update the
Contact the Embassy itself. There's a process for that one.
You need to contact the consulate itself. This is Google where people answer questions and share experiences.
These general requirements and instruction for renewing your passport can be found online on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website, click on consulate and find the New York Consulate, followed by paasport.
(1)At the New York Consulate, they made an administrative decision not to implememt an appoinment system to renew your passports unlike other T&T Consulates in the USA. (2)Any citizens of Trinidad and Tobago from the age 60 yrs and over pay $20.00 only if they are returning to the Consulate to pick up their passport when it is ready for collection. If you want the Consulate to mail the passport to your address (someone must be at home to sign for the delivery) it will be an additional $12 cost, which total to a cost of $32.00.The Consulate DO NOT mail passports to P.O. Box address (3)You can apply for a passport at any Embassy or Consulate Office and collect at any passport office within Trinidad. This service is free BUT, if you apply for the passport within Trinidad & Tobago and you are collecting abroad at any Embassy or Consulate, an additional fee will be attached.
$60.00 to renew, if you willing to return to the Consulate and pick up the passport when it is ready.Remember you must return with your receipt you are given at the end of the renewal process and your passport. If you want the Consulate to mail the passport to you when its reeady, the cost will be an extra $12.00 which will be $72.00.But please remember, when you collecting any new passport, you must surrender the old passport for cancellation and deactivation. Therefore, after checking online and verifying the passport is ready to pick up at the Consulate. You must then, mail your old passport to the Consulate(this cost is absorb by you separately) and only when your old passport is received, they will mail the new passport and your old passport to you.Nationals 60 yrs and over pay $20.00,if they are returning to collect the passport. If they wish for the passport to be mailed to them, they paynthe extra$12.00, therefore it will cost $32.00.Please do not bring photos for your passport.
Hi I'm not sure but you can call and ask or go in
You can only download the form online and mail in the required documents with the application form. You can not apply online for T&T Birth Certificates
No.....that is the NYPD
Yes
Hello, drivers id, old passport, machine washable birth certificate (new birth certificate),marriage licensesif any, divorce papers if any, money order for $60. 3 to 6 months to receive your new passport.
Get your application for your renewal. The dual citizenship application is different. You'll need to download it from the website. The best thing is go in and pick it up from the consulate's office. The kids must have their US birth certificate as well passport if there's one. Importantly if your kids is under 18 you need their father's approval. He can be their for the day you bring all paper work in. The good thing is there's no appointment needed. There could be more information missing from my response your best bet is to contact the consulate they are there to help you. My experience may be different from yours so call them or go in in person. Good luck.
Go online
Call the the office or go online
There is a website where you enter the application numbers from the yellow receipt they gave you.
Check out the website
You know this is ask Google the question not the consulate. Your best bet is to go online and get the answers you need.
Your best bet is to look it up on the website.
No my brother did and had to go to court!
Go online, there's information on the price.
12USD for regular as for the rush mail you'll have to check the site. The only thing is it take 4 months from the date you put in your passport.
You'll need to talk to a staff member at the consulate. If you can not reach a person at this branch you should call the one in Miami and the one in D.C.. You will get the better response to your question.
Morning Sherwin, you shouldn't put your entire name for public eye. As for your question, I have read in the office passport it takes 4 months to get back. I realise that is long yes, but I ask the staff why. They all said to use your receipt they gave you and go on the website and see if your passport is ready. The thing is you have to keep checking. This been going since I was in Trinidad. The people is complaining the passports are taking to long. I thought it would of been faster here in the States but it's the same as if you were in Trini. The only thing is check the site. I do hope this helps am truly sorry but this the only way. Enjoy your day.
They dont do extensions anymore you will need to renew
You should be able to as long as your birthdate or birthplace has not changed in the time since the certificate was originally issued.
Yes. I did. Return berries expiration date
