How long will it take to renew your TT pastport

I am a resident and live in India. The embassy here does not have the facilities to accept biometric information. However they have issued me 2 year temporary MRP without the biometric info. The only places to submit this info is London NYC and Trinidad. So I have to fly all the way just to submit this info and renew my MRP. My question is how long does it take to acquire and update the

The Government of Trinidad & Tobago began the issuance of the machine readable passport(Black Cover ) in the year 2007.This new passport is mostly and commonly called and referred to as MRP which is short for Machine Readable Passport.If you have already been issued an MRP passport in the past,renewing your passport will take 6 weeks in production from the date your application was accepted. The renewal of the older (outdated) type of passports (Blue Cover) will take 3 months in the production from the date your application was accepted.
