This hotel is such a disappointment. Maybe it was 4-star a decade ago, but it’s about 2 now. Best Western, at best. The pictures are what it used to look like. Any renovations are a big step down from the original hotel. The beautiful stairs upon entering have been moved and become an illogical sideshow, serving no purpose. 3pm check in; we arrived at 6:30p, and our room was not ready. Staff was in t-shirts. Our room was dirty—my son found a pair of eyeglasses next to his bed. Coffee maker was moldy, which was a blessing; it didn’t work. Still had to pay for coffee from the cafe downstairs. The woman at the desk did not address the issue at all. We valeted our car, it came back the next day having been rifled through and looted. Not kidding. No forced entry. I get the valet service is not part of the hotel, but it is under their employ. The woman at the hotel didn’t even say she was sorry it happened. There was no information in our room or given to us at check in, regarding amenities or locations of anything. Also there are aluminum corrugated walls in parts of the hotel. Seriously, it’s almost funny, how awful this was. Almost. We paid a Ritz Carlton rate for a value inn experience.

Friendly and very helpful front desk staff. Clean rooms that are well appointed. Super convenient for a downtown Cincy stay. Best part is the parking valet. Mike, Riley and Drew: fast, friendly and efficient Once you scan your valet ticket your vehicle is ready for you within minutes. You could probably park your own car and walk 3 blocks to the hotel but the parking valet is the way to go.

Booked the “premium” king room for a night and my wife and I left dissatisfied. At check-in the 3 guest in front of us all had issues they needed resolved that should of been the red flag for us but we have been here a few times prior with only minor issues (room wasn’t quite clean). Upon entering our room we both questioned if this was the premium room. Called down to the front desk and was told the pictures online are only of one premium room and they actually have 3. The one online is the one you would want. The room we got had a balcony overlooking the front desk. Then I was told I couldn’t switch to what I thought I paid for. So long story short, we paid extra to be kept up all night by commotion of the lobby and loud voices which we could clearly hear quite easily. Save your money and go elsewhere. Unless you enjoy paying extra for inconvenience and false advertising.

Issues with no hot water and then poor noise dampening room door across from the ice machine did not make this the best experience. The staff was all very friendly and attentive, but we did have bad luck with our actual room placements. The rooms were well laid out and very spacious. FOLLOW UP: The hotel did reach out to me within a few days of stay and assured me they valued my review. They appreciated that their staff was engaged and will be working to correct the door across from ice machine (Room 613) if anyone is back to check it out.

Boca, Nada, Nicholson's, Jeff Ruby steakhouse are all good downtown and within walking distance of the hotel. OTR has more restaurants, but that is a little longer of a walk. Abigail St on Vine is my current favorite restaurant

You might inquire at the hotel to see if they have any package deals with the casino. About 5 minutes away by automobile.

How much is parking?

They have valet parking. They add it onto the bill, but I believe it's around $20.00. Everything is pretty much in walking distance from hotel. Parking downtown is very limited. I would keep my car there unless you are traveling further out. The valet were also wonderful. We checked out but they let us keep our car there to walk to a nearby restaurant.
