Upset about the pool being closed we have 5 very unhappy children. The free breakfast sucked there was nothing to eat but waffles that had a long line to make and bread and bagels. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was perfect size for all of us. Not sure about coming back because a pool is very important to our family cause the kids loves to swim.

Positive: The hotel was in a great location, felt safe and appeared to be busy with families traveling. The room was spacious and ideal for our needs. Negative: I booked the hotel for 3 adults intending to utilize the pullout couch we paid additional to have int he king suite...upon arrival at hotel their were no linen in the room for this bed and the entire facility was out of additional pillows and blankets.

Terrible experience and I never got to my room. I booked with frequent flyer miles, when I showed up they said they didn't have my reservation. No problem, I had only booked an hour ago. I called customer service and they called the hotel. I was on hold for around 30 minutes, staff kept ignoring the phone and periodically hanging up on the rep. He resent them my booking at least twice and they kept insisting they weren't receiving anything. He escalated and another rep called them, and the hotel told him they would upgrade me. Great! I go to talk to the front desk again, they tell me they don't have my original reservation but they can book me a second reservation. At this point I know the reservation has been sent at least 4 times but the front desk told me it takes them 3 hours to receive bookings. I travel frequently for work and have booked several hotels, often on short notice, and I've never heard of a hotel taking 3 hours to receive an email. Long story short I wasted over an hour with customer service to try to get the disinterested hotel clerks to honor a reservation and ultimately had to cancel. Rooms might be nice but I wouldn't know.

We stayed April 19 & 20th and the hotel was better than anticipated. Specifically The breakfast was fabulous. Lots of variety, well prepared with staff continually cleaning tables and the food area. One day omelets next day scrambled eggs. Both days cinnamon roles & hot biscuits. There were two or three kinds of breakfast meats. The room was very clean and tasteful. (I don't usually write reviews but these guys deserve one.)

Typical checkout is at 11am. La Quinta Returns members can ask for a late checkout. It doesn't hurt for anyone to ask as on days where occupancy is low, there is no problem for them to make up the room later or even the next day.
