My fiancee and I were in town due to a death in his family. We opted to stay here since the other hotels we normally stay at were booked plus we are Choice hotel members. We checked in late, around 10:30 pm. We were assigned room Room 130, a King Suite since it had a fridge. The a/c was not working but we toughed it out thru the night. The next day we were assigned another room. Room 137. The room did seem cleaner then room 130. I went to heat up some coffee in the microwave and something caused it to fall over. As I was cleaning up the mess, I noticed and black box attached to the inside top of the microwave. My fiancee removed the box and to our surprise, there wer drugs on the inside. We proceeded to contact Blue Ash police dept and they came out and took possession of the box of drugs, which appeared to be a large rock of crystal meth and high dose pain patches. It was a stressful day. On our last day, as we were packing up, there was a young lady in her car behind the hotel smoking pot in her car, the smell was horrible. The hotel is dated. The hallways are very hot and around the pool area. It is a shame that the restaurant and bar is shut down. I was looking forward to the hot breakfast but instead got cereal and an apple. Luckily I bring my Keurig and my own coffee and creamer. The staff was pleasant but because of our experience we will not book at this hotel again. Not wanting to stay at a "crack house" 😕

We came to Cincinnati for the Van Goh experience and were looking for an affordable place to stay with a pool, breakfast, and WiFi. The hotel fit the 3 prerequisites and we booked. It's amazing the amount of taxes and fees hotels add up these days. The receptionist was friendly enough and kindly let us into a room earlier than normal check-in. The rooms are a bit dated and the double beds are not big enough for 2 adults, luckily it was just me and the 2 kids. The pool area was very nice but the hours were a bit wonky (closes at 9pm and doesn't open til 11am after check out time)? Breakfast was decent (cereal, yogurt, Muffins, apples, and make your own waffles) but the area was darkly lit and there was only 1 waffle maker and too many people waiting. The hotel worked for what we needed, and that's about it.

Positive: Staff was very nice. The beds were comfortable. It was quiet although this is a big hotel and there was not a lot of guests there so that was nice. Negative: Although the hotel was clean as it could be, it also was run down and outdated. No refrigerator in my room as most hotels have them. Graffiti in the elevators. Breakfast wasn¿t good.

A great value for your money. Sadly, the restaurant and bar were closed. Thanks COVID. Janell, the desk clerk was amazing and went above and beyond. The pool was nice and warm. Hotel was nearly empty on a Monday night.
