I love the location of this park. It’s a small clean park with a carousel and playground. There’s also an awesome mini golf course. Great place for a date or for an evening in the park.

I love the show in the central fountain taking place every hour and the mini golf

Original date was November 24. He is there every Saturday from 4-5, it's $15 to meet with him but there are mile and cookies that come with it. From 5:30 - 7:30 on Saturdays, you can give Santa your list for free. Details are on the Franklin square website. Times are pm.
Never been to that event
Yes but is mostly for sitting down, kids in the playground, spend a relaxing time there
Not for the events! Tickets must be purchased. Free on regular dags.
In mini golf, I believe it's typically 2 per hole
Yes
Please don't mislead people and say it's an open and public park, that's not accurate seeing as you have to pay $18 for admission during ther lantern festival, which takes place for a couple months, possibly longer.
It didn't cost to see the light show but it was very short
yes! I think it starts in April/May. Check Historic Philadelphia Inc website for dates.
I'm not sure anymore
Only if you wanna play something, I mean, there is a minigolf, carousel, and a place where you can eat something In the case you don't want spend any money you can do it perfectly, there is a free park for the kids and you can enjoy a light and music show in the fountain also, obviously if you go more in the afternoon/evening. I hope I helped you
Mini golf and the whole park close in January and February
Without a doubt
8th and Market on the Patco is the closest stop to Franklin Square
Good evening, You may take several trains to downtown, If you are deciding to commute, you may also take share ride/limousine to your destination. Good luck, Be good, God bless...
There's street parking but you still have to pay.
I had no issues I was safe and it was late I kept my phone in my hand just in case but I was fine. I left the area around 11p
There is no cost to be admitted to the park, unless the lantern festival is going on, at which time it costs $18.
Yes, nearest street/cheaper is Chinatown a few blocks west. Paid is at independence mall underground just north of the east side of the park by a block.

Call the City of Philadelphia parks dept and ask them or ✔ online.
Yes. I think so
Yes.
Parking garages. They are expensive but they are your best bet. If you can, take public transportation instead.
I mean, you won't be able to get on the merry go round, and there may be some bathroom usage issues... but mini golf should be no issue! I've been there a ton of times and I can definitely say, I've NEVER seen a "no giant inflatable dinosaur costumes allowed" sign. So. Your good ;)
Sorry I dont kno. Check Philly fun
If the lantern festival is taking place, it costs $18. Otherwise, it's free.
Yes for general admission on regular days but they do have occasional special events that are not free and on any given day, there are activities you can pay to partake in such as mini golf, a merry-go-round, and on site concessions including a gift shop
There is a parking garage by the liberty bell and visitor center just down the street
If you are asking about the chinese lantern festival that was at the park for several months then it is no longer available. They extended the festival for a bit but that extension ended weeks ago. I don't think it had to do with the Chinese New year though. And I'm not sure if your question is asking about the recent lantern festival or something else
There is only a charge when there are events such as the Chinese Lantern Festival, otherwise the square is free.
As marlo said, yes tickets are required for entry during the Chinese Lantern Festival. During the day though it is open to the public. The lantern festival runs from May 1st to June 30th.
Its free during the day but after 6pm, ticket prices are $18 for adults, $12 for youth n free for kids
To be honest I don't know the surrounding streets but the street parallel to liberty bell & Franklin square by the park..i believe it was $6 or $7 for the day.. then again it was the weekend as well. There is one right off the highway when u come off but I think its over $9.
You may park on the street.. or at a parking garage. Both can be expensive. It may be wise to take public transportation.
Yup it come one every half hour or so when its dark for about 6 mins till after Christmas
do you have to pay to get in here, any fees or entrance charges
