The Spruce Street Harbor Park is an urban park located in Penn's Landing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Open during the summer, the place features a boardwalk along the Delaware River with a beachfront atmosphere. Fireworks were planned around the Independence Day holiday, though the main fireworks were scheduled for the Ben Franklin Parkway on July 4 itself. The park's features include a beachfront with a boardwalk along the Delaware River and about 100 hammocks hang under thousands of LED lights hung in the trees during the night. There are multiple restaurants and pubs or bars. The park has hammock lounges and two barges available for reservation. On Saturdays, it is host to the Art Star Pop Up Market, where local artist sell candles, soaps, ceramics, art, home goods, jewelry and more.

They made more family and really nice for everyone. It's great!
There isn't much grass for pinicking as the hammocks hang, but there are pinick tables. However noone is allowed into the park before 11. The patrol may ask you to vacate. There is a memorial park across the street with lots of grass for picnicking
Yes every year .any where along Delaware Ave or Christmas Columbus Blvd you'll be able to see them.penn treaty park is a good view. Not to crowded.and penns landing but gets conjested
If you arrive early enough to secure a spot, otherwise it'll be jam packed. Good luck!
Spruce Street Harbor Park is closed for the season, but you can drop by Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest for some ice skating! It's only 3 blocks north!
No but what you save on admission you'll spend on everything else
There are numerous parking options available, some more expensive than others. Weekends are usually the times when it's more expensive. This is true for the most part throughout the city's attraction areas. It's cheaper to park legally than to park illegally.
There is a paid parking lot close by that does have handicap spaces.
Yes 👍
Yup!! Maybe not when you posted the question.
From Jersey you can, but in Philly take a bus such as the 42 bus takes you right there!
Wow!
Was never closed really, all you have to do is show up!
Yes you can.
There was a club that was open 6/26 the night I was there

You can google events at spruce harbor park for fall of 2019 and a list should pop up
Honestly don't know, never gone there for fireworks. Suggest just using Google for locale places with fireworks
When I looked on their site, it showed a fireworks display for June 29th
You should be able to find one on Amazon or any outdoors Sporting Store
p
What does the website say? It typically tells you what time they are open for business Matt
Didn't see any

Agree and although there isn't privacy everyone pretty much keeps to themselves. It's worth a trip.

Not sure I didn't see any signs about weight. They look sturdy, I saw two people in one and they both were full figure the man and the woman. I would go for it have a swing.
Absolutely not. They have thur night jazz if you like that kind of music.
The perfect time would be 3pm they dont stop until 10:00 11:00 pm
I used PATCO at 8th and Market, also you can take the SEPTA Market-Frankford line to 2nd street then walk down.
Free ones as well, but its usually pretty busy so finding one may be difficult
11-11 Sunday- Monday and 11-1 Friday and Saturday
Youll be best served to find a local lot of try to get lucky with street parking. You can then walk in or take a bus. Theres lots of paid parking near Reading Terminal Market. Walking or bussing from there is less than 2 miles.
No, the sit or play area is free to access. The food and bev is pay of course.
Closer meters are $2.50/hr, ones a couple of blocks further are $1.50, we saw a lot for $15...hope that helps!
Family events are free to attend...but the archades cost money to play in...also food is a separate charge as well very expensive...cheaper to get food on Market St in Center City
