They made more family and really nice for everyone. It's great!
There was never so many different types of people there are now as if people never knew about that spot. It's no longer exclusive to us (common Philly folk, not downtown folk) which is ok, but just another hustle, tho great family spot, nice 4 kids. But miss the way it was cause you remember going there when you were teenagers or chillin there with your girl or sitting at them round steps wit a drink in front of the river at the end of the path walking over from South street. It was no fancy walkways, no extra landscaping, no vendors & 1 m&f bathroom by ferry dock. Only The Spirit, Hyatt, Moshulu, the ship & sub, the museum, the Charhouse, Dave n Buster's, clubs and that parking lot wasn't there that probably greases hands $$$. Yep City Hall has been tightening up their ties these days. No money 4 the community, but revamp the sub entry & City Hall landscaping and Penns Landing 4 tourist while the most poverished & oppressed in Philadelphia go unnoticed, sugar taxed & our ciggs raised.
Hope you enjoy it. The changes along the Waterfront are being made by the Delaware River Waterfront Corp -- a nonprofit that's in charge of developing and programming the waterfront. We actually opened up Harbor Park 5 years ago! Much more to come in the next 5 years.
I remember Penns Landing before Harbor Park and I've been going there since it opened. In fact I'm taking my boyfriend there tomorrow and that's where I want to propose :)

I do and change is good and sometimes bad bit it's nice at the appoi.ted times .It's hard to get a Hammond and then it's crowded because a lot of people calling and they take in the tourist take into it the white lights drawer but overall something to do was free if you just want to people watch you know the little places where you can lay and drink and have drinks as nice so you know long as they know shooting and killing I'm good
They have made a lot of new different stuff for the ballgame every year.
