There are numerous parking options available, some more expensive than others. Weekends are usually the times when it's more expensive. This is true for the most part throughout the city's attraction areas. It's cheaper to park legally than to park illegally.

Free parking spots are hard to find in CC and South Philly especially- it also displaces local residents it's a nightmare if person is in a wheelchair. Lombard south area is best to find Street parking
There is metered parking on the street and parking lots ($20) near by.
There are parking lots at Lombard Circle, Walnut Street, and Market St, and we're easily accessible by public transit.
There is small parking area in the park and if that is full then you can find parking on the street.
