Is this park gated? We want to come down around 9am on a Tuesday. Will we be able to access any open spaces for picnicking and visiting if the park doesn't open until 11?

There isn't much grass for pinicking as the hammocks hang, but there are pinick tables. However noone is allowed into the park before 11. The patrol may ask you to vacate. There is a memorial park across the street with lots of grass for picnicking
