First time asking where can I have a small picnic, for two people is there a sitting area?

Agree and although there isn't privacy everyone pretty much keeps to themselves. It's worth a trip.

Agreed. Many grassy spots, hammocks or nooks with Adirondack chairs but as Joey says not the spot for privacy :)

There are many sitting areas around the park. Grassy areas. But you will be around a lot of people, fyi.
