We were driving down a small country road in Clio Alabama. We came across the cutest little Old country Town, Frozen in time from 100 years ago. A little sign said Blue spring State Park..... It was such a beautiful and relaxing place. If you ever get a chance to stop and visit you won't be sorry.

It is a nice place to get wet in summer. Camping ground here is another good option. A lot of pinic table with grills in different area. Price is reasonable, 4 dollars per person with free parking.

Our visit to Blue Springs State Park was a lot of fun for my grandchildren (ages 11, 13 & 15). I enjoyed seeing it personally. We enjoyed using the picnic table and would like to bring food next time to put on the grill -- all of us would like to return before the hot air is replaced with cold air. I recommend anyone traveling to Blue Springs from Mobile, AL to drive I-10 east to the Cottondale exit and north to Dothan; then, north to Blue Springs, AL. More cabins and marketing would be good. If I had to choose something to improve at Blue Springs, it would be more attention to the bath house, a very important feature!

This place truly is a treasure for the entire family. We swam, had a picnic, let the kids play in the playground, and nature-walked the creek/river the natural spring feeds. Beautiful & clean all around.

I know that there are camping sites but I don't know if it is RV compatible.
Yes it is they never shut down being a outdoor venue with two very cold swimming pools and campgrounds.
Probably 12 or 15 ft in the middle. They have shallow areas
They do have primitive camping. They have camper trailers for rent
Yes they have a fishing pond and stream you can fish in , but they do not allow fishing in the spring itself.
Yes it is indeed open today. Go enjoy such a wonderful location. You will be glad you did!
Yes there is a very shallow area for the little ones to play in. Just keep good watch on them and dont let them venture towards the connecting pipe between the two pooñs as it does get rather deep there and there is a little bit of current as the spring gushes forth its wonderfully fresh and cool waters!
I don't know for sure but if I had to say probably 15 16 ft to the bottom of the Blue Springs pool as far as the cave I have no idea
Yes, the cabins kind of look like mobile trailers, but they should be available for rental.
Yes
Yes
Yes. There is an RV parking area in the back section of the park.
You can. They just have signs up as u get really close to the actual swimming holes posted that say not pets beyond that point.
$4 per adult , $2 per child between the ages of 6 to 11, and adults over 62 are $2 as well.
I cannot tmrem÷mbe the cost, but you can tent camp with water & electricity or they a also have primitive tent sites.

For sure. I just wouldn't take a rly big one because the swim area isn't super big.
They are close together but as previously stated, they do have a firepit at most as well as a grill. You can request a cabin with more privacy if one happebs to be available. Secondly, Blue Springs State Park is a beautiful park that usually doesnt get very crowded. Most of the time you get your pick of the amenities you desire. The staff are both knowledgeable and helpful. They will assist you in any way possible to make your stay both pleasurable and memorable. Ask the staff for a cabin with a fire pit and you should get it. Hooe this helps.
