Great place to take the family and camp. The bathrooms are clean and were continuously being cleaned. The campsites were clean. We had plenty of shade and kept cool. The fire rings are great and have a fold over grill. Each site has a picnic table. We stayed in campsite one and it was fantastic. It’s creek side and gorgeous. The sites have water and electrical. Make sure you have a 30 amp three prong to hook into. The local Walmart and tractor supply sell adapters if you need one. The only complaint I have is that we didn’t stay more days.

Nice little Museum and Aviary. One of the most beautiful State Parks! Very nice! Creek to walk in, playground for kids, fancy restaurant open certain times and days, so many good things!

You can easily see the park in half a day. There are quite a few hiking trails, all of different levels for different hiking abilities. There's paddle boats in the summer on the lake, or take your own kayaks. A beautiful waterfall close to the lake but to get to the bottom, ensure you can stretch a bit & still be steady. Park is free admission which is awesome! There are camp sites available if you want to camp. Restaurant on site as well. Great place to spend the day or half a day, depending on your preference.

What a lovely state park! We camped, did two hikes and one of the programs. The camping site was great, creekside, with a flat area for the tent, picnic table and fire pit. The Shoal Creek hike is wonderful and an easy out and back with just a short uphill portion. The turkey ridge trail is okay. The first portion you can hear/see the road. The middle is lovely and then the last half mile or so is along the road. My only complaint/suggestion would be to update the description of the space/planet viewing activity. It is a kid focused program on the distance between planets. We were not able to actually view any planets (though that may vary based on time of year)

Yes.. very pet friendly
I hope y'all have a great stay. Its a beautiful park
Look on their page I can't remember honestly. You can bring your own as well.
Yes we spent the whole week there for memorial week and we left ours unattended and had no problems
Two tents are allowed per site.
yes
I think you can check in anytime? Check out time is 11am. I would just give the ranger station a call. They are very helpful and friendly.
Mostly walking trails but I know you can ride your bike throughout the park.
I'd stop at the welcome center and talk with the ladies inside. If they don't have a answer, they can contact a ranger and get an answer.
Upon inquiry of another employee at the park the cabins come with everything you need to enjoy your stay in our cabins. They are FULLY furnished with utensils, coffee makers, toasters, pot and pans, dishes, silverware linens, you may need to bring coffee filters but there may also be some there already.
P good really just depends on your service. P good really just depends on your service. P good really just depends on your service. P good really just depends on your service. P good really just depends on your service.
They won't let you ride bikes off the pavement so I would say no way to an ATV.
Though most of the sites are RV with power and water source.. We tent camped couple of months back and this place is beautiful with well maintained sites, restrooms and other areas.
No. The pool is not being opened for the 2021 season due to COVID-19 concerns.
The cabins are beautiful they do have big nice tv,'s i enyoyed my that my go to place l love it at night a thousand deer come outgoing back several times this year
It's free. Great park and trails.
Not that I'm aware of,we use tents
On one side I believe there was but not 100% but it costed more. On the right side I know for sure there was not.
Yes
$26 per site. RV sites have water & elec. Park has showers. I don't know cabin rates. I should recommend staying here as I thought it is a nice park.
Yes you need a fishing license idk about golf carts
Well if you ask the other campers maybe you will find a Davy..but I'm not sure about the petting of the hat.
to the best of my knowledge there is none
Everyone is welcome and you can stand under the waterfall it's awesome 👌
Probably 9 ft
No. They had some paddleboats for rent. They have piers to fish from. But, I think everybody already caught all the fish!🤣 Only caught a few small ones.
The cost of a camp site depends on the site. They have prices listed online when you look at the sites available for the dates you plan to visit. I think our site was around $25.
$20.00 a day
At the same time as the parks main entrance opens which is 7am until sunset.😎
Hey Keith the lake is awesome you can fish they have roll boats and other don't know what time they rent them out just have to check with the David Crockett park
Most of the trails seem fairly flat with some hills
Really don't know just have to call the park sorry
Yes
Not exactly. The outlets are the larger RV type plugs, but the campground host and the park office has adapters available that convert them into standard 110 volt plugs.
Yes on both.
Yes the park is not sure about the restaurant. You might want to call.

Not sure just did some hiking sorry
No, they go by state guidelines. But you can stay two weeks, out for a night and come back. As for price, not really sure.
Yes it is and a good place to enjoy peace
Primitive Camping at David Crockett State Park is open from March 15- November 31.
I would call them first.
When you first turn into campground, you drive right by it
I'm not sure. Our motor home is 31 ft & we had room to spare. Biggest issue we had is the site had a significant slope & we could not get it level.
Camping area 2 is now open 8/22/2018
Not much except crawfish in the creek when I was there
The park is free to go in
Thanks..any crappie thereb
Its the different trails. Example is the bike trail is red, cabin trail is yellow..ect
You don't need a reservation unless you're renting a cabin or need to rent one of the covered picnic areas otherwise no you can just go
I called today and they said it’s $2.50 per person to swim even if you are staying at the cabins.
10.00 dollars for two people and kids get in free at a certain age.
$2.50 per person for thirty minutes. $5 per person per hour.
Yes you can bring your own kayak and life jacket
The cabins in the park sleep 8 people. They are very nice with 2 full baths. Prices are comparable to any cabins in Gatlinburg or else where. Where else could you stay for less than $20 a person?
Call the park and ask. There's different shelters you can rent.
Can't hunt in that park, but just 20 miles west in the next county is an assortment of public management areas of 40,000 acres. 22k In Eagle creek alone.
Yes. Caught a nice lake trout near the damn in front of the park
Not sure. Go to the website, but I did see them and they looked fantastic.
