My wife and I are from Hartselle Ala Morgan Co we hunt Wheeler Wildlife Management Area at home .We Bow and Crossbow hunt only and are wondering if we get our seasonal hunting license and few other fees if our hour and a half drive would be worth it

Can't hunt in that park, but just 20 miles west in the next county is an assortment of public management areas of 40,000 acres. 22k In Eagle creek alone.

The park doesn't allow hunting, but in Lawrence County you can hunt at Laurel Hill WMA.

Ditto to Vince' reply. There is NO hunting allowed in any of our state parks....

No hunting in parks. I think game lands are for that.

The deer aren't afraid of people, because you can't hunt them.
