This is the best place to hike around here. There are several trails and a nice old mill with a lock and waterfall. I think you can also rent paddle boats the pond. If you want to hike these trails I suggest taking some insect repellent to keep the ticks away. Totally worth a parking pass for the day.

Parking not so much..BUT, very nice quiet tranquil lake, rent a boat or bring your own kayak..nice trails around the lake 60+% tree canopy.....it's a little out of the way...it's near sandersville, ga....it's worth the stop.. trails marked well.

We loved this state park! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The sites are almost all waterfront with beautiful views. The park was clean and peaceful. We will be back! Thanks Casey, Julie, and camp hosts Mike/Fawn.

This hidden gem is tucked away in Washington County. There’s an old water powered gristmill that’s still operational and used to grind corn. Lake Hamburg is beautiful. Lots to see and do at the park. Hiking, kayaking, fishing, boating, running, cycling. Love the huge trees. Campground is awesome. Had a great time. 🎣🦌🥾🚴🏾♀️🛶🌳

This place is beautiful absolutely gorgeous and I enjoyed my time walking my dog and checking out the sites I took a bunch of pictures while I was there as well I don't live in Georgia I live in Florida I'm up here visiting for a while and I got to tell you it's a place worth going and a place definitely worth seeing and bring your dog yes you do I don't care
Anyone know if this has been fixed?
No sewer. Great park.
Yes there is. We live in the park and their people there fishing all the time.
Yes, the camper next to us caught a few.
From what I saw, yes
Yes! They have RV sites! No primitive camping. You can also rent paddle boats, kayaks, Canoes, and John Jobs with or without a trolling motor.
largemouth bass, crappie, bream, catfish they are fish aplenty and yummy
Our last paddle was a mere $10.00. Rates may have changed. The lake is fed by the Little Ogeechee River, thus it does a have a small current. The wildlife photo ops are never-ending. Absolutely our go to for serene natural beauty. ENJOY !
We did not ask as we were not fishing it was our first time there wanted to check out potential spots for fishing I know you can get license online through DNR website office at park was closed
You have to pay to rent the shelter
Not sure we never got it.
There are no cabins only camp sites for tents or campers
No swimming is allowed. To many gators. Sight seeing, picnicking, walks, fishing, paddle boating, also regular fishing boats allowed, camping. That's what we could do when we went camping a few years ago. Also great playground for children in camping area.
The same as statewide regulations. http://www.eregulations.com/georgia/fishing/game-species-daily-limits/
