It is small, but a lot of fun. The Godzilla and Medusa show was amusing and fun. Feeding the gators was a lot of fun too. I think the absolute best part was feeding the tortoises. You get to be right in the tortoises habitat; they appear to really like people feeding them and brushing their shells. My family and I really enjoyed our visit.

Absolutely fantastic experience for the whole family! We had a Guided tour from Cindy who was super knowledgeable and kind and was able to teach us a lot about all of the animals. We also had Phoenix got us food and took us in with the tortoises. Afterwords he took us and caught a yong gator for us to hold and on our way out was kind enough to get the redtail boa out for us to hold and see. Alex did an awesome educational show with their two biggest gators Godzilla and Medusa. It was especially nice of them to do the show seeing as it was just us there at the time. An amazing experience and definitely worth a visit!

This was so much more than we expected. We had a tour guide named Cindy who led us through the whole place. Then we had Phoenix who was nice enough to get us food to feed the tortoises and got out a alligator for us to hold and pet. And as we were in the gift shop getting ready to leave Phoenix came back with a red tail boa for us to hold and pet. And we had Alex that did the Godzilla show even though it was just us. He still got in Godzilla's enclosure with him and his girlfriend Medusa and did the alligator presentation show for us. This is really an awesome place You should check it out.

We visited the sanctuary on 9/19 after I had been following them on Facebook for months. Let me just say, it did not disappoint. Alligators are one of my most favorite creatures and to have a place like this in our state is awesome. The …

The alligators will usually hang out in the water and still eat the food if you come on a rainy day. If it is a cold and rainy day, then the alligators won't really do anything. We definitely recommend coming on a sunny day.
This is our number 1 question here at the sanctuary. Come visit us and we will show and explain. David
We have a number of alligators up for sponsorship/adoption. The animal stays at our facility, but you can name one that doesn't currently have one and we send you a picture and a certificate of adoption. We did not recommend them as pets, that's why we have so many. All of our animals were pets that their owners didn't want any more.
We do have sponsorship opportunities where your can name an alligator or donate to a specific animal, but it does not leave our property.
Not for sure
Just buy them when you arrive.
We are open on weekends only during the months of November through March, but watch the website for updates and changes..................David
It's a must see. The guides are amazing. I've been there several times and learn something new ever visit. I'm pretty sure the sanctuary opened 11 years ago.
I have taken children from ages 2 - 72. Everyone has loved it. I learn something new every time I go. A wonderful place to spend a few hours.
