We have a number of alligators up for sponsorship/adoption. The animal stays at our facility, but you can name one that doesn't currently have one and we send you a picture and a certificate of adoption. We did not recommend them as pets, that's why we have so many. All of our animals were pets that their owners didn't want any more.
Yes you can adopt one of there alligators yearly but it stays on the premises of course. As stated before me one of the main reasons this place exists is because of people wanting a alligator as a pet not realizing they aren't a pet they are meant to remain in the wild
People wanting alligators as pets is probably why there was a need for this sanctuary. People get them and don't realize that they grow and end up having to get rid of them because they are a wild animal and not meant to be captured as pets.
