Fun birthday trip for my six year old son! York’s has many beginner rides that are perfect for his age. I was sad that the tigers are no longer there, as they were always my highlight of our visit over the years. Surprised and disappointed that they close at 5PM, because we missed about half of the animals due to assuming they would be open later. Also, they are very understaffed, which meant less food and beverage choices spread throughout the park and zoo. Overall, still a great day for our kiddo on his big day and we will always return.

It was a lot of fun for our first time. Plenty of animals, and my daughter loved to be able to pet the deer and goats.

Wild kingdom zoo was great. It was our first time there and was surprised on how big the zoo is and how nice the animals habitat are. The food was delicious.

We couldn't find an atm and one of the food stands was cash only and they have feeders for the goats and the parakeets, so unfortunately my children only got the quarters I had in my purse. The animals were wonderful, we had a great time walking around the exhibits, so many amazing animals I never would have seen in person otherwise. My children were so excited and loved it!

September 24, 2017.
I'm not gonna lie, kinda grinds my gears they charge people to rent a wheelchair. $10,$30 whatever, how can you charge someone who can't walk around on their own to get around a place they just paid admission for. You should have a question clearly stated when buying tickets and just have it ready for those who need it.
According to the state age 2 and under do not need to wear a mask. We do understand young children will not always keep their masks on
Yes we have a lion and a white Bengal, and orange Bengal tiger
York is very ideal for children. The zoo has numerous rides that are perfect for toddlers all the way up to pre teen. The beach is as other said very close only about an 8 minute walk. Along the beach there are small shops as well as a large arcade so even more stuff to occupy kids with. Overall would highly recommend the zoo as the amount of animals and the rides are perfect for the whole family.
Hi, Yes the mini golf is in the amusement park but not part of the Zoo & Ride package. It would be a separate charge of $4.50 The go karts and animal rides are also a separate charge (all other rides are includes in the Zoo & Ride package) Go karts are $3 for one ride or 4 rides for $10, and Camel and Pony rides are $6 each You can find those prices on our website at www.yorkswildkingdom.com
Animals are rescues been going there for years
If we close due to rain yes you can get a rain check and it would be good this year, next year, anytime we are open
Dogs are allowed. There were service dogs at the park while i was there.
The Southwick zoo in mass. is a 100 times better and much more worth the money.
Best to enjoy park without dragging along a cooler. But it's a good thing to have in the car if you don't want to spend to much on park food. Or there's Grity McDuffs down the road.
Agree with Samantha Wood's answer. Not sure how long this has been the case but, they close at 5pm during the week. Hope this helps

I like that you can go to the amusement park, zoo, and the beach all together
I am not certain I believe somewhere between 1945 and 1949
Most rides have a height maximum of 48" your daughter will be able to go on a lot of rides on her own. Highly recommend an unlimited bracelet for her. You are able to then go in and make sure she's all secure and exit while she rides.
You can use the games and shops without admission fee o believe you're only exempt from rides .
Yes, there is no issue with it... just dont feed the animals people food.
And since there are no good adult rides n can't userly go on rides with little ones go and enjoy the zoo kids might like the rides but adults won't

I loved the elephant to but i love the ducks and squirel monkeys
They have several food options (think Fair Food) in the park, and downtown York is full of family-friendly food and drink options.

No, they decided when building a zoo/amusement park that bathrooms weren't needed especially since children were going to be around.
Check your tickets if they are dated for 2017 then no they can't be used
The park closes September 24th, long before snow falls. The animals are then moved to a warmer place for the winter.
Closes the last week of September each year i believe. Was the 24th in 2017
It is pretty big. I would definitely think about wheelchair if they have hard time walking.
Sept 24th is their last day for the season
