Yes we do have manual wheelchairs (nothing motorized) that we rent out for $10 for the day. You can pick one up just inside the Zoo off to the left at the film & stroller booth and you will need to leave a valid ID with the clerk until you return the wheelchair
It's a good time whether you're on your feet or wheels too...just saying!!! Especially if you are going with your kids or grandkids. I grew up going to York Beach with my family for years. For my daughters 10th birthday my father, who is battling leukemia and has had three major back surgeries and he's possibly facing another one and at the time I had a surgery that has now passed for a growth on his pancreas left by the chemo that started as a lesion from all of the treatments. The point is he push through his pain and walked as long as he could which was the farthest yet ever walked since battling leukemia but even with the wheelchair that eventually became part of our Wild Kingdom trip, he said that he had not enjoyed himself that much since seeing me there growing up. I hope you enjoy yourself or if you have already gone glad I did enjoy yourself!!!
