Beautiful lighthouse and area. One of the most famous ever. The drive to Nubble was fun and picturesque. Loved driving through the village to get to it. Stunning views all around. My son loved climbing the large rocks down by the shore. Parking was a little tricky as there were no spaces available when we arrived so we drove around the lot until one became available. Lots of incredible photo ops here. A quick storm blew in five minutes after we arrived and cooled down the area quickly which was great. A truly beautiful place to see. Highly recommend.

Such an awesome lighthouse! Classic New England shoreline, the light still works as well which is nice. I know some of these are not still in use, but it’s nice to see something used for its purpose. Can be a bit chilly though, even on nice days, that nippy ocean breeze will get you every time.

What a beautiful lighthouse this is. You can’t actually go over to this one or in it (I believe it’s a private residence), but it has some absolutely stunning scenery all around it. The park across from it gives you several different angles and ways to photograph this lighthouse. Definitely worth a stop to see it.

One of the most beautiful and best kept secret lighthouses in all of Maine. As a professional photographer, it has been my life goal to come to Nubble Lighthouse and capture the sunrise. I fell in love with this place and decided come here every year for my family vacation.

No fee and free parking.
We left our dachshund in the van while we wandered around a little while
Yes if it isn't busy. May have to park by the restaurant & gift shop so that other smaller cars can park up in the driveway
There are 4 lighthouses on a tour going north up the coast starting with Nubble. I came all the way from Missouri, it's well worth the trip.
Its free. You can drive by and walk around the grounds but to get inside you have to make arrangements.
they are on right before dusk until midnight and again right before dawn until just after sunrise. hope that helps! :)
I know it's done frequently. I'm also sure you would be told no. If it was a very small scattering, personally I would feel that would be fine. We're talking a small amount not an entire urn full.
Their still disscusing it. Hopefully we'll know soon
No you cannot tour it. It's private property.
I don’t believe so
I think all night
The actual lighthouse is not open to public but the park gives you an unobstructed view at many angles. Great place to paint or photograph. I enjoy just sitting on the rocks listening to the waves
Parking is free at Nubble light
Raffle tickets are $10.00 cash. The tickets can be obtained from the gift shop. Raffle drawing is done every time 1000 tickets are sold. Good luck 🍀
I understand her desire for this to be the place. Condolences.
Great gifts can be brought at the gift shop onsite. Opened now until Columbus Day.
The lights are on all the time. If you are talking about the Christmas lights they are lit after Thanksgiving until beginning of January seas permitting. Also on briefly for Christmas in July.
Hi, the do the lighting and the festivities on Saturday after Thanksgiving which is tomorrow. It gets packed fast and the police monitor the parking so either you need to get there early or get dropped off. It would make it easier for you. It is beautiful, they have carolers and Santa comes down on the fire engine. Put you in the festive mood. Have fun
Do they allow dog in park?
The island is inaccessible to the public, and hence you are not allowed inside the lighthouse.
It may be the Damariscove Island lighthouse
While we are not a 501c3.....yes, your donations are tax deductible. Also the lighthouse is owned by and run by the town of York, not a separate organization. No tax dollars go into the maintenance and upkeep of the island or park. The Gift Shop sales and all donations keep the lighthouse in order. Thanks for the support.
No idea but probably after dark... By 5pm
