We always enjoy going here on our yearly trips. The animals are well taken care of and you can feed some of them too. The bears, birds, rabbits and goats are available for feeding. Our son loves the animals.

Fun place to walk around and enjoy animals. We loved feeding the bears and the birds. The Llamas were fun as well, but their emu pin mates are a bit intimidating. Hah We will visit again!

Lovely zoo. Not too big so you don't get tired of walking around. They have friendly animals as well who you can pet and feed. The environment is also as close to their Natural habitat for the animals. Loved the free range birds roaming around the space.

I loved that everything was in close proximity to each other so wasn't to much walking for my kids. Lots of cool different animals to see!

Yes it is
Sorry didn't notice anything, but was there in early September. Awesome place
I would check for kennels in St. Ignace.
I would say no b/c stairs and most of the walk ways to the animal exhibits are mulch. Would make it hard to get around especially if the ground is wet. But things might have changed since I went last Aug. Very cute zoo tho!
The main building is accessible. The pathways on the grounds are covered with wood chip mulch. It is possible for a caregiver/family member to push a wheelchair, but it would be exhausting. Indepedent use of a chair would be extraordinarily difficult as the mulch was loose - it was early in the season when I visited, when more people have walked on the chips, it may be easier to push on. A standard chair with power assist would also likely have trouble on this surface. A motorized chair might be okay because it would be heavier, but the wheels might slip on the loose pack. The bathrooms are portable units, I do not remember if one was accessible, but I seem to remember one being ramped.

We paid 50.00 for four adults and one toddler. Well worth it!
They have a couple of wagons there that you can use. But a stroller, you would have to bring your own. Honestly though, I brought a stroller for my 2 year old daughter and she wanted to walk everywhere. The zoo isn't HUGE so it's not too hard for little ones to walk around. (Plus you could use a wagon that I mentioned earlier.)
