We are traveling with our dog and grandkids want to stop at zoo. Is there a day kennel near by? If weather is mild is there a problem with leaving dog in vehicle?

I would check for kennels in St. Ignace.

I believe if it's a small dog you can bring them and carry them. I would call and ask. There are a couple kennels installed ingnace you could use too.

I did not notice any sort of fog kennel close to the zoo as it is really pretty much on the middle of nowhere. The parking lot is shaded however. As far as leaving your pet in the car, that would be your decision, you can leave the zoo and return to your vehicle, but still probably not a good idea
