I have been to much more expensive zoos and not had as good of a time. They take great care of their animals and have quite a few exhibits for a free zoo. They do except donations. My 3 year old loves going to see the cougar and bears there.

We enjoyed the not-so-planned stop! Animals were still attended too though its late in the Winter season. My kids got a good look at actual wildlife and of course, my toddler said Hiii! to the bears, and my 5 year old had a conversation with the nearby geese. It was a fantastic and well spent time walking through with our little crew.

Really nice zoo! I’m always extremely leery of zoos, especially small ones..there are few things I hate more than seeing animals in tiny enclosures and on concrete instead of grass, etc. The enclosures here are very large and well maintained. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and really well kept. I stayed there for hours :) Nice bonuses of a lovely walk or drive around the herd enclosures and a great picnic area.

Perfect family outing when the weather permits. Especially if you have kids who love playgrounds. Son loved the activity room, and the bear pen is always a hit. The zoo is a great addition to a wonderful park.

Yes, not much longer but yes they open earlier in the day
They ask if you would donate money to help out with costs amd upkeep but technically you can choose not to donate. I think the sign asks $2 for adults and $1 for children if you you choose to.
Didn't see any but if you have your own it would be rather easy to get around the zoo
Open everyday, free zoo. Have two huge kodiak bears with big play area.
No, unless it's a service dog.
Thank you! Is there a pumpkin patch near there?
The place is not bad. Picnic area but the place need more help. Donation.
No. There's a sign posted as you walk in.
Dogs are not allowed in the walking zoo but around the park is fine
So no one sneaks up on them
Normally no u can't pet the animals. You can get close enough to the ducks to feed them thats about it unless they have a special event where theres a petting zoo added temporarily
