Is October a good time to visit the sanctuary

Is the ground all flat my mom ant do hills or uneven ground

My family and I just visited for the first time last week, and it was still an amazing experience. They did stop feeding the alligators the 2nd week in October, so you wouldn't see that. They are also getting ready for the winter months, so the alligators are hiding more right now. I would imagine a nice, warm day like today would have been great to see them though.

Yes it is a good time. Our entire family loves Critchlows gator sanctuary. The entire staff is very nice and will answer any questions you have or will find the answer Mr. C and his daughter usually lead the tours and are extremely good with the little ones. Have fun!

It is very close to the time that they put the alligators in hibernation. And if they are open I believe the gators are very slow moving. Summer is really the most opportune time to see them at their best. It is a very informative place to visit. Try to find their number. They can give you the best info. :)

I would say in a normal October np. Alligators are cold blooded and don't move much in the cold. You might be pkay with the warmer weather.
