PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE if you don’t want to: - Have your car break-in - Have your packages stolen - Being treat badly by rude staffs - Climb the stairs all the time because elevators are out of service all the time - Dogs’ waste everywhere around the community, especially the dog park, so don’t even think about bringing your pet there. Most of the good reviews you saw here are written by their employees so don’t be fooled. It is a joke to live here

Terry Dixon has been a treat to work with here! He takes care of all the maintenance requests me and my roommate have. He always has a great attitude when he shows up too!

I started the application process here but didn’t end up signing a lease, and I’m glad I didn’t based on my experience with the management. The leasing office took multiple days to respond to our questions by email, and often did not answer the phone. Then they tried to rush us into applying despite not giving the answers we had asked for. After choosing not to complete our applications, my roommate and I each received a $60 bill for the application fee. This was even after speaking with a leasing agent on the phone to tell her that we would not be submitting the applications, and being told there was nothing else we needed to do to end the process. A few days later I received an automated email threatening to send us to collections for a fee that we do not owe them. I have been trying for days to get in contact and resolve this issue, but they’ve ignored two emails and three voicemails at this point. Seems like all they care about is getting your money.

I lived at VV&M for 2 and a half years. The first year was great. The property was clean. The front office staff was very friendly and knew everyone by name. After the property was purchased, everything started going down hill. The hallways were rarely cleaned which meant an increase in bugs. Also, when it rains, the water seeps inside which makes the halls wet and extremely slippery. There were multiple apartment fires and no communication was sent out to get your pets out so they didn't have to sit in the apartment with the alarm going off for hours. The residents who lived there for a long time started to move out and an increase in residents who would leave trash in the halls and have very loud parties. There were giant bags of trash left in the hall (not outside of an apartment) for over a week. When working through a complaint, the office staff wouldn't ever resolve. I had a resident tell me to F off for asking him to leach his dog to not bother my rescue dog. If you do decide to live here, make sure you read everything very clearly. On tours, they will talk about a bunch of perks but not tell you that there is a charge. There is a charge for underground parking, charge to get packages and a $400 NOT REFUNDABLE pet FEE (per dog). This pet FEE will not go to any pet related damages in your apartment. This is on top of your monthly pet rent. Plus, the elevators are broken more often than not. They want to blame this on the vendor, but maybe they should find a different vendor.
